Can you figure this out because i cant!!?

if your had one boat that had enough room for only two things at a time and one sheep, one wolf, and one bail of hay,,,you had to go across the river to your house before it gets dark.and you have to take all three things across saftley before it gets dark... but you cant leave the sheep with the wolf because the wolf will eat the sheep,, and you cant leave the sheep with the hay because the sheep will eat the hay!..wich one do you take across first, second, and third? saftley

Answer:
you pick up sheep take it over to one side the go back and take hay over to sheep pick up sheep before hay is eaten and take sheep to wolf take wolf to hay then go back and take sheep over there and congragulations you did it. (well i did but...)

Take the sheep home 1st.
Go back, get the hay.
Bring the sheep back to the starting point.
Take the wolf home.
Leave the wolf and hay at home.
Bring the sheep home.

Take the sheep over first, then come back for the wolf. When you go back for the hay, take the sheep back with you so the wolf is alone, the hay is behind you and the sheep is in the boat. Pick up the hay, drop of the sheep where the hay was. Now you have sheep on one side, wolf on the other and the hay is with you. Drop of the hay with the wolf, then go back for the sheep and you are all done.

You take the sheep first and then the wolf and bring back the sheep and take the hay and then take the sheep.
1. Take Sheep
2. Take Wolf, bring back sheep
3. Take hay
4. Take sheep

um, whose on first again?

Most of the answers are correct. But it won't work if the wolf eats hay, too! ;-)
