i'm all for it. this past winter was freezing. and if the coastline is next to pittsburgh, i'm going to the beach every day!
not only will it effect us, but our children, unfortunaley, there are some people that are like "WELL I'LL BE DEAD WHEN THAT HAPPENS TO IT DOESNT AFFECT ME." But what they dont think about when they say that is, their future families who WILL be alive and suffering. i think scientists are currently researching less-pollutant materials... like hybrid cars! ^_^

I totally agree with you, you know what I heard the other day? That the world was going to be out of freshwater in like 2030(or 2050)? We need to do something fast.
There is a new movie coming out called 11th hour. It is about global warming and how we can make a difference.
I think greed and selfishness -- called love of money in the Bible -- was long ago identified as the thing that would destroy Man on earth. Global warming is prophecy fulfilled, basically. Even as scientists point out it's preventable causes, the liars and politicos and trolls and bought minds and gullibles among us side unwittingly with the CEO of Exxon, thinking they are following their own free will.
I hate to include myself in with the human race because of some of the deniers of Global Warming. But I do. We are all one family. And reluctantly, I must say we are getting what we have coming. We are reaping what we have sewn these last 150 years of the industrial revolution. Our excuse for a very long time was what we didn't know. We have no excuse now, and the captains of industry, ever with their hand on the cash register of their soul, are making excuses, a.k.a. lies.
Now that is refreshing. A little bit of honesty about Global Warming. I can accept and support people who want to clean up the earth so that all people can live a healthier life. I can support stopping pollution to protect animals.
I can't support people who use a theory with incomplete and sketchy data to try to scare everyone into doing what they want.
What you ask is admirable and I will do my part to stop pollutions but IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GLOBAL WARMING!

The earth's mean temperature cycles around the freezing point of water.
This is a completely natural phenomenon which has been going on since there has been water on this planet. It is driven by the sun.
Our planet is currently emerging from a 'mini ice age', so is becoming warmer and may return to the point at which Greenland is again usable as farmland (as it has been in recorded history).
As the polar ice caps decrease, the amount of fresh water mixing with oceanic water will slow and perhaps stop the thermohaline cycle (the oceanic heat 'conveyor' which, among other things, keeps the U.S. east coast warm).
When this cycle slows/stops, the planet will cool again and begin to enter another ice age.
It's been happening for millions of years.
Humans did not cause it.
Humans cannot stop it.
Global warming is not ruining our lives as much as it is ruining the habit and lives of animals. Maybe we should all consider their lives as well as the future of ours.
You are mixing up two different things here. Air pollution, which has been around for a long time (smog on the west coast), and just pollution almost everywhere else. And global warming, which is maybe happening slowly, (1000 years?) to get really bad, but IT IS NOT CAUSED BY PEOPLE. It is a natural cycle from hot to cold to hot, etc people can't change. Check it out historically, not by Al Gore and his kind. God bless.
I see a lot of people talking about "God saving us from global warming." Well, it's been happening for a while now, and I don't see God intervening in any way. I think if he wanted to save the world, he'd have done it by now.
The Earth is developing more greenhouse gases which is warming up the world. This will melt the polar ice cap. That will change the currents in the ocean & that will raise sea level everywhere. The bottom line is global warming will cause the world to get cold and flood about half the major cities on the coast. In other words, goodby Florida. I hate to say it, but we can't solve this until some kind of 9/11 happens on the global warming front. Ask god to create a flood to kill all extreemists and maybe all the rednecks while he's at it. If he was willing to kill everybodys first born hopefully he'll atleast do that. God bless the baby killer!

You are right - We need to immediately set up a plan to start killing off anyone who pollutes. That is the only real way to stop pollution. Oh, let's see, that means everyone alive today. Will you put your name on the list first? Hey, it is for the good of the planet, right? If you so request, they can hang you with an organic hemp rope or you can be run over by a Prius.

Now why Ozone hole is widening , because more Rockets are sent to space, why rockets are sent to space, 'to monitor the settelites , for different needs
