did you know that 80+% of plastic water bottles in the US are not recycled? I've started to recyle my plastic bottles in an effort to help the environment.

I do my best by not farting outside. There is already trouble with greenhouse gases & ozone.

food plastic bottles / cardboard / clothes and try to drive only when i need to.
I haven't flown to far away places for many years.

re cycle, use energy efficient light bulbs, turn electricals off at the plug and dont use standby
i recycle as much stuff as i can each month and then i take it along to my local tip and put it in the recyling units their.
i walk and bike sometimes, rather than drive--depends on the proximity of a place
I use an ethical bank that invests in green companies only.

I help people to insulate their homes to use less energy.
energy saving bulb, switching off all electrical points that i did not use.
switch off everything before i go to bed except for the tv in my room coz i love watching tv in bed.
planting all sort of plants in my balcony to generate oxygen. I call it my own mini jungle. A pair of bird even came to nest on my plant so i am very happy.
I use ethanol (E85) in my mercury grand marquis which is flex fuel and my ford focus, which is NOT flex fuel. They both run great on it. I won't even use gasoline anymore. Hopefully more people will get on board with using corn to power our vehicles. It is cleaner, renewable, and made in America.
I put all the plastics/paper in the recycling bin, I switched off lights whenever I can. plant shrubs in my garden
get rid of all traffic wardens!
to help the environment, i personally recycle everything possible, its true that nature has the ability to renue its self,but do we really want to Wait a few million years?the time to act is now, lets face it we all have to live here lets make it a nice place
Everything I can think of, it takes a bit longer, but I am determined to try and leave a nice world for my children, their children and their children.
I recycle everything, I watch my electricity, gas and water use.
Plastic bottle filled with water in the flush cistern, switch EVERYTHING off when its not in use, limit how much water I put in the kettle to heat, water butts in the garden for rain collection for the garden and indoor plants. Walk when ever its possible.
Make one journey in the car, where I used to make several.
Refuse plastic bags, cancelled my newspapers, get the news from TV and on line.
I find it challenging, and hope that it will make a bit of difference, I visualise myself being a snowflake in an avalanche, if we all do it, its got to help, AND its actually saves me money!

Its insanely easy, so why it is so hard for some people to recycle?
*I also try to walk instead of take the car. If i need to go a long way i will try to use public transport.
*I also try to use as little water as possible
-Taking care of how much water i user in the shower
-Never use a hose pipe
-Not filling the kettle too high.
*I use a compost bin. It make the best compost in the world.
