It is not real. It is not happening. Our Earth goes through natural cycles. That is all that it is. If you need proof, look at Al Gore. Cries about global warming all day long, then has a ungodly utility bill. He must not be too concerned. He just needs to flap his gums. That is all global warming is, something to complain about.
even if it is true, which it probably isn't, there's nothing you can do yourself that can reduce it. You could completely change your life around, make every day of your life miserable and uncomfortable, and it would effect the whole picture by about .00000000000000000000001%.
30 years ago there was an epidemic of global cooling and that we will be near another ice age before 2000.
Show me REAL evidence and I might consider it.
1) Use Renewable Resources,
2) Recycle more
3) Have Global Emissions Caps on how much gas each country can release

Global warming is an accredited theory in the scientific community.
You can lower the amount of pollution you produce by using clean or public transportation and unplugging electrical appliances while you're not using them.
Get the word out. Don't be pushy just give the information. Back up everything with data. There is so much we can do it just depends on how much you time and effort you want to put into it.
yes but in reality there only so much we can do. i would love to see the governments pull together and make things planet friendly. even though i believe the earth is heading for a natural global warming the answer isn't destroying the earth and speeding up the pace. i would love to see alternatives to the gas engine as well as doctors that care about their job and don't rape/ molest our bank accounts when we need them! (lol, i had to add that!)
this question has skeptics buzzing around it like flies ,if only skeptics could be recycled for bio-fuel,we would solve the energy crisis.

irespective of global warming ,even if all the planets in the cosmos melt bcause the sun is having a stroke ,this does not deminish Mans effects on the Environment ,and we should try to behave more responsible to the source of all of our needs ,such as Water ,Air ,Soil,Climate beause our very existance depends on it .
WHY
Why cant people accept what is happening to this planet ?
Why cant they accept that we humans have caused devastating destruction all over the planet .
And not just for the last 50 years ,the Sahara used to be forrests (,but you cant deforrest on the equator because you cant replant under that hot a sun.It is now growing 7 miles per year burning the edges .

The building of Spanish Armada made Spain a dessert country as the Phoenicians deforested Lebanon for their trading fleet.
Ghengas Kahn burned everything(cities ,agriculture,forrests ) and filled all the wells with sand ,turning vast teritories into desserts.
TODAY
Large parts of the world are turned into deserts because of irresponsible farming,overpumping carbon Aquifers ,over grazing ,deforestation,all causing desertification.
I have been in the jungles of Oaxaca and discussed with the Natives the mountain before us ,Mostly deforrested ,scarred by landslides and dotted with madly steep corn patches (which only produced for 3 years ),and devoid of clouds.
They all agreed that the days were hotter ,there was less rain ,And the river was dry part of the year.
When they were boys ,the river was bigger and ran all year around,the mountain was always covered in clouds with daily rains .And the days were more bearable .
Their actions in the desperate plight to feed their enormous families of avarage 12 kids per family ,often much more ,had destroyed their home ground with indisputable climate changes.
In Africa I have seen lush wooded lands change into dessert within a few years by large invading comunities ,who devoured the trees for building and firewood ending up in a dessert with out water
and with a hot sun under which no new plantation was possible.
Granted the climatic changes are local ,but effects neighboring areas ,there is less rainfall, rivers dry up ,
BUT these things are happening ALL over the world and nobody can convince me that COLLECTIVELY this does NOT effect the Global climate
Global precipitation,Global temperatures,Global water supplies ,Global everything.
Millions of hectares are lost because of the roads systems ,expanding population and the resulting settlements.
Mexico looses half a million hectares per year in the quest for Ethanol and this is happening in Africa ,Borneo,Malasia,etc and will become much much more ,when America passes a new bill about the production of Ethanol ,
Replacing indigenous forrests wiping out all the wild life and bio diversity and replacing it with monoculture plantations grown with fertilizers that will only have plagues of insects as inhabitants,which will be combatted with Pesticides .The natural soil balance will be destroyed and contiued growth will only be possible with chemicals .
Is there no limit to the waste of money and natural resources in this insane attempt to suposedly save te Environment .
Humans ARE contaminating ,the Air,the Soil and Waters.This evidence is for all to see all over the world ,
And cannot be whitewashed with claims that humanity is inocent .
OVERPOPULATION puts pressures on all Natural resources and increases all the bad side effects of Humanity such as deminishing the overall bio mass and wide spread polution
Why dont they want to look after Nature ,it is where all the conditions that makes life pleasant and possible for us comes from ?Air ,Food ,Water to grow food and to make beer with ,and most of all a bearable climate ,not to mention the absorbsion of harmfull gasses.
Why dont they want to keep the neighborhood clean so their kids dont have to play in the trash ,?
Why do they want to kill animals ?

I definitely believe in global warming. There are many things that can be done to slow it down. Here are a few suggestions:
1) cut down on driving
2) shut off car instead of letting it idle
3) unplug anything that isn't being used at home
4) reuse and recycle
5) use CFL light bulbs
6) take showers instead of baths
7) take shorter showers
8) don't let watter run when brushing teeth
9) use cloth napkins instead of paper napkins
10) use cloth towels instead of paper towels
Although one person can't stop global warming by themselves, if everyone makes a few changes in what they do it can make a difference.

All of that sounds really close to things you might hear today about global warming. Well then maybe I should tell you that those come from the early 1970's and warn of an approaching ice age. Those headlines come from Newsweek, New York Times, and Time Magazine respectively. Here's another quote that might be familiar,
“[Those] who claim that winters were harder when they were boys are quite right… weathermen have no doubt that the world at least for the time being is growing warmer.”
This headline isn't from today, but 9 years before Al Gore was born. It comes from a Time magazine article in 1939 warning of a coming warming age. Here's one from the New York Times,
“Geologists Think the World May be Frozen Up Again.”
That quote is actually from an issue from 1895. It seems the media can not choose between cooling and warming.
“Human race will have to fight for its existence against cold.”
“Ice Age Coming Here.”
These are from 1912 and 1923 and obviously point towards a coming ice age. Those were by the Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post. But, all of a sudden, the mass media switched once again in the 1930's to warn about warming again.
“America in Longest Warm Spell Since 1776; Temperature Line Records a 25-year Rise”
That was in 1933 by the New York Times. That is very weird considering that just 10 years earlier, the front page of the Chicago Tribune read,
“Scientist Says Arctic Ice Will Wipe Out Canada.”
This one is from the New York Times in 1974 on global cooling, after switching from global warming again,
“the facts of the present climate change are such that the most optimistic experts would assign near certainty to major crop failure in a decade.”
So, overall, it seems you can't trust the mass media at all. With their over hyping and flip-flopping, it is apparent that each generation is sucked into an idea contradictory to the last's. Another argument I hear on this subject is that we can't trust models and instruments of those times. We'll be saying that in another 30 years about today's instruments is my answer.
yes, the globe does warm. thank god or else we'd be in an enternal ice age. Whether or not it is caused by humans has not been proven at all. All of the actual credible sources, none sponsered by the IPCC, environmental groups, or industry, shows that manmade global warming is just a big created by fear mongering angencies in the 1890's (yes 1890's, thats not a typo) to bring in more money, as fear sells better than anything else.

OK say that the earth is changing its temperature. Say that IS happening. What in the world do you think one person walking to work will do? Come on people. This is a planet we are talking about. Do you know how many factors would be involved in globally changing the climate? I don't even think your revered scientists know. Ask any scientist if he knows everything about his field. A good scientist is learning every day. Don't jump to conclusions about how this is happening. The earth had an ICE AGE when the dinosaurs roamed your streets. Did that climate change happen because of humans? Did the Dino's drive to much?

Kyoto Protocol
