The penguins are doing fine.
Penguins are great swimmers.
Global Warming is bringing more fish to them for them to eat.
Penguins love Global Warming.

Polar bears are also excellent swimmers. Global Warming willl bring more fish north for them to eat as well. The problem will most like ly be a population explosion of Polar Bears, not their demise.
I doubt that penquins feel anything in the way you mean. They're just birds after all.
well, first of i would like to say that i hate how barely anyone bothered to answer this question, and to the answer above me, no they are not "just birds"
penguins are drowning everyday because the ice is melting, and its because of us...
i feel that they really dont deserve to be put in that position

They will soon feel the crunch of things. They feed heavily on krill that need to breed in cold waters. The number of krill is diminishing due to the few degrees warmer that the water has become. So, their main food supply is starting to dwindle off.
well I think Polar bears are in more danger because they live in the north pole, and cannot swim. Penguins, which only live south of the equator, will probably be ok, because Penguins do not need to live on ice. All they need is to live in an ocean with cold currents. In fact, only 4 of the 17 types of penguins live on the coast of Antarctica. One type of penguin (the Galapagos penguin) actually lives on the equator.
Slightly warmer weather will probably bring about a population surge which will probably normalize with a bit more predation - orca and leopard seals are gonna love it.
