I am trying to compare bags made of starch that are used in Samoa with normal New Zealand grocery bags for a Science Fair. Does anyone know what chemicals and stuff they are made of and is they have any starch content?

I'm not sure what they are actually made up of but if you do some googling about recyling you may be able to find the answers.
Alternatly try ringing a supermarket and asking them, they could possibly give you the number of the company that supplies them and they should know what exactly they are made of.
