Why does the lie of Global Warming continue?

People blindly follow the liberal's media hype about ''man creating global warming through his abuse of the Earth and it's resources'' and how ''cities will become submerged and we will all perish''. They are always saying that the earth is warming up and they cite data from millions of years but in reality we only have about a hundred years or so of accurate data, the rest is all theory (guesswork).. In fact it is probably just part of a cycle. I would imagine if we had realistic meteorological data from more than just a hundred years we would see a pattern (or frequency), not unlike sound and light waves form.
Most of it is just the liberal's media stirring things up. For example, if the polar ice caps are melting the why after only forty years in the Arctic did they find a squadron of air planes 250 feet below ice?

It's not a lie it's an agenda.
It might turn out to be true - not that whether it is or not has anything to do with the agenda.
The agenda is to limit our lifestyles, force us all to go back to nature. This is the latest in dozens of pretexts. Some have turned out to be accurate at least in part and were addressed, most have not - hey a stopped clock is right twice a day.
But let's be clear on this, these are people who had an agenda first and then went looking for a pretext, they threw a lot of things at the wall of public scaremongering and global warming is what stuck.
They threw global cooling at the same wall in the mid-1970s and if that had stuck that's what they'd still be going with.
Nickel, it's a scientific fact that the planet is warmer than it was 100 years ago.
Whether we're causing it remains an unproven theory after 20 years and tens of billions of dollars spent trying to prove it.
Because of world crisis which is knocking on our door. Even if ALL industry, traffic etc. stop this moment, I mean everything in the world, we would feel consequents for next 100 or 200 years.
And also, the 3rd world war will be about water.

That being said, I think it's a bit ridiculous for people to think we can't and/or shouldn't do anything to reduce emissions, consume less fossil fuels, etc. just to make a political point that we think someone else is full of crap.

Because there is a lot of money to be made by it. Look at all the things that governments are trying to add higher taxes on. Take a look at gas prices. It's not because of a shortage in oil, it's because the "global warming enthusiasts" are trying to force people into using other sources.
If someone says it enough times global warming becomes real to people.
I've heard it all: temperatures are the highest ever, ice caps are melting, blah blah blah. It's obvious that there is something to global warming, but there is something called global cooling as well and both have happened. It's nature. It isn't all about people ruining the Earth. It's cyclical. My favorite line is: The earth is warmer than it has ever been. Okay, prove it. What was the temperature in Rome on July 2, 1247? Yeah, no one knows. I could go on, but I won't.

Not a bunch of one sided websites but the actual science, the facts, the things people can believe in.

I wonder if people who reference JunkScience.com know that the man behind it is Steve Milloy, a man who accepts funding and editiorial input from the tobacco and oil industries. I can't imagine this has any connection to his stance against global warming or his claims agaisnt the harmful effects of smoking.

World leaders are not too concerned with the well being of the masses ,on the contrary .it was stated at a conference in Copenhagen,in 1998,by an American statesman , that the Agenda demanded a decrease in the world population of 60%,and you cannot achieve this if you start saving everybody.
Scientists who get paid by politicians have downplayed the facts because solutions are expensive and means change .
Change effects many peoples incomes,and upsets profit margins,so most of the world is kept in the dark of the real things that are going on.for political and economic reasons .

Global warming is a very complex collection of many effects
This text only covers some aspects of global warming mainly man made desertification
Industrial contamination ,the contaminating effects of the cities ,is another story
There are natural cycles in the planets life
but mans existance has its effects,and this is increasing with overpopulation,putting strains on Natural resources and increasing contaminations as well as destructions of essential componants the ensure living conditions for all life forms.
In North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification and some have died as a result.
In china, thousands of what used to be farmers are running for their lives from the dust storms, that have burried their towns and turned their lands into dessert.
The Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year
and many of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions ,and they are increasing ,in the dinosaurs days ,there were very few desserts.
Collectively this planet is drying up because of bad farming practices like,over grazing and fertilizers,
Each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss
There is less and less water (because of deforestation),to irrigate this production ,
and there are less and less farmers to do it..
Each year 70 million more people have to eat and drink and wash
Farmers are plowing more and more unstable lands because they have lost so many million hectares to desertification ,because of bad farming practises ,such as using fertilizers and heavy machinary , over grazing, overpumping deep carbon aquifiers.

The northpole is melting ,and we will know it without ice in our life times.
This does not affect the sea level because it is ice that is already in the water.

if forrest are being exchanged for ashalt,concrete and desserts, what is gonna keep this planet habitable for us.
We as humanity can behave in a less stressful manner as far as the Environment is concerned ,but it will mean global co operation between all countries ,and taking into account human nature and the world politics ,it is unlikely that this will happen
Why do you think its a lie? Is it because you don't want to change and enjoy doing whatever you want regardless of the consequences to others? Its a fact that asthma cases are on the rise, why? Because the air is dirty. Its a fact that the drought is getting worse is some areas and others are getting too much rain. Why? Because weather patterns are shifting abnormally because of too much pollution in the air. Everywhere around you things are changing, and not for the better. Take a minute, slow down, and look. We need to clean up our act.
I will not even read any of the responses to the supporting that Global Warming is a lie. The ice sheets are receding, the Northern Polar Ice Cap is shrinking and Southern California's weather has changed in just the five years I have lived here.
Global Warming is a fact which we are speeding along. The statement that if cars had better fuel efficiency people would drive more - bogus! People are having to work more hours or even more jobs to make ends meet because Exxon-Mobile and Royal Dutch Shell know we'll pay even $15 a gallon if they charged it. And they can get away with it.
Look at the data all around you: The U.S. complains that "Gas is $3.50 a gallon, oh my God!" Good thing they aren't in Canada where it's $10 per gallon now, or Japan where it's $5.25.
More things - why was NASA ordered to shut down their satelite that tracked global warming? Why are weather patterns changing? What is causing the ice caps and sheets to melt? IT'S C02 EMISSIONS! Ice ages used to take tens of thousands of years to occur - we are about to set one off in less than 25,000.
Yes, it happens natually. It has happened several times. It will happen even if we are thrown back into the Stone Age of technology. But we are responsible for the pace it is at now. I know I don't want my grandchildren to call me a liar when I tell them Manhattan and Coronado used to be beautiful islands. And I'd like to be able to show them the Philippine Islands some day as well.
