Does anyone know where there are free places to dump junk/trash in Los Angeles,CA.?(or anywhere near L.A.)?

Dont dump your trash! You can recycle it! One helps the environment by recycling. An average family produces 2000 pounds of carbon dioxide a year by not recycling. Who knows? Some recycling places pay you for recycling. You could make some money off of it.

I don't believe that there is anywhere that you can go to just dump trash. There are pickup services if just whatever you want to dump is so big that the regular trash collectors won't pick it up. There are also a couple of places that you can go to dump electronic waste. The one I know of only does it on Saturdays and I don't know the names or contacts of either.

Why would you want to just dump it ? Dont you think it would be better to recycle all that you can ? For example, if you have any old appliances that you dont need but are still in reasonably good working order then you can donate them to your local good will or helping hands. If you have cans, bottles and/or paper then see if you can find a place that will accept them for recycling. There are better alternatives. You just have to look.
Don't dump your trash! Dumping trash is what's killing the Earth. If it is food like bananas or apple cores start a compost pile. If it is recyclable, recycle it. Don't forget to take your soda cans or beer bottles to your local grocery store and you will get 5 cents for each one you return. And that way you only have a little bit of garbage to throw out! Also, remind yourself that you are helping keep Earth alive for many years to come.
It is people with your attitude that get me. Why should you dump your waste anywhere? There are places everywhere to recycle what can and landfills and trash haulers to take the rest. People talk about saving the environment but noone wants to pay the price. It is time for the free ride to be over. There is no free land left in America. If you dump anywhere it is on someone elses property.
