Why does FunQA.com punnish one for loving the earth?

I do not own a computer...when I need internet access I go to the local library. I dont actually own a comptuer of my own because I am not ignorant and wasteful.
Ive had a terrible cold the past several days and the weather isnt the best to be out riding my bike long distances. (I do not drive a car because i actually care about my mother nature and do not wish to destroy her)
I come back to FunQA.com only to find that my previous questions have been put into voting. It is compltely unfair that just because I havent had the selfish luxary of an automobile that will ruin the earth, and therefore have been unable to get to the library which is a few miles away..that my questions woudl be put into voting.

Answer:
Ignore the last two answers, I applaud your sincerity. Good job, keep it up. We need more people like you.

As to the voting part, you can extend a question to keep it active longer, but I generally don't worry about it too much. You could ask the same question again if you didn't get any good answers.
go hug a tree
If you hate computers and stuff so much why don't you just forget about FunQA.com and try to save the world
In case you haven't noticed FunQA.coms doesn't or has never disrespected those who love earth. Why as a matter a fact they do, they have ads at the top to promote conversation and recycling etc. And not to be rude, but people purchase computers to stay up to date on news, and what's happening around the globe. Besides, the irony in your post in amazing because your avatar is looking like a 70's hippie, when today is the 21st century and we are moving on, trying to go forwards in technology not backwards.
Sorry, but it ain't Yahoo's fault. Your question was put into voting because you didn't pick a best answer. That is your responsibility. If you gave an answer that went into voting, then the respondent didn't pick anyone. That isn't Yahoo's fault either. Sometimes people ask questions and never check back for the answer. Sometimes they can't pick an answer. I applaud your efforts to go green, but you have to get off Yahoo's back a little bit. They just provide the forum and we are responsible for it's success or failure. The fact that they give us a second chance by the voting method is actually commendable. I hope you get a computer for your home soon so you can participate to your heart's content.
well then next time extend the date for answers to be longer before leaving the library.

i agree with the people say it ur fault. I mean u must be a hippie or something not to have a car or computer.
Leave all cyber things alone. eat organic.
-_- everyones questions are put into voting if they are um, unique enough. owing a PC is not wasteful. merely boycotting technology is not going to affect the world. the corrupt society as it is now will always pump out everything they can get money off of. trees will continue to be cut, carbon from cars will continue to destroy the world. violence will continue to rage on. if you are not a customer to this corrupt society, then the seller will find someone else. unless you can find more than 1/2 the worlds population to go to your side and beliefs, just maybe you can change the world. your such a hippy
i agree... with the first person-- if you even have an account then you obviously are using some time of a computer so in the end, yes you are ignorant and wasteful...and as for targeting for yahoo-- if you read the ads, you would see that they are giving free eco-friendly lightbulbs to those who get a best answer or a free canvas tote-bag to those in levels 2-7 and if thats not enough they are having celebrities and politicians create yahoo accounts such as nancy pelosi, speaker of the house, which you probably dont know because you dont watch television, i assume b/c that is wasteful..
You know, there are such things as deadlines. Is it yahoo's fault that you were sick, and couldn't vote in time? No. Is it society's fault that you don't own a car? No. Is it your fault that you knew about the deadline and decided you were too sick to go the library? Yes.
it is a long way round for saying it ,but i agree Yahoo is now to quick with the voting ,it used to very much be longer and they changed it to very short,

Have you allowed for notifications ,in the configuration ,on your account page ,
because they send you a note ,that says HEADS UP YOU MAY WANT TO EXTEND YOUR QUESTION .

THAT IS UNDERNEATH THE QUESTION IN THE BAR on the far righthand side
Wow...you know, I might have actually wanted to answer your question and help you, but after reading that, I feel a bit offended. The way you worded your question made it sound as though anyone with a computer is "ignorant and wasteful" and those who own a car are destroying the Earth...and you're better than all of us because you bike everywhere and refuse to buy a PC.

Here I was thinking that environment wise I was actually doing some good by owning a hybrid car for my 25-mile drive to work AND carpooling to boot, as well as being part of a software development team that produces software to help remove the need for paper documentation. But, what do I know?

Maybe next time you sit in front of a computer and logon to ask a question - ONLINE - you should think about the audience that'll be receiving your question. Most of us own our own computers, and I'm willing to bet cars too.
Okay! Your kind of freeking me out. And FunQA.comes doesn't do that! You are one weird person. like the other person said, go hug a tree.
Glad to see you care, but a car provides CO2 and H2O 2 essential elements in the photosythesis process.
This will be tuff in busy library. Post question as soon as you get on line. With luck it will receive couple of answers. Leave and get back on just before your ready to leave, and extend your question. Best of luck with weather especially in winter if you live were it gets cold. Lots with computers use internet access at library.
Sorry that you can't drive a car. You probably live in a area that you don't have an area that you can afford to park it. NY City right? No One BUYS The Mother Nature crap. You think its unfair to you, but fair to us voters who don't want to here your opinion or ? that's liberty. maybe you shouldn't put so much effort in to getting to the library. We will all gain if you stay home watch TV and eat.
I know what you mean.If unable to get back to choose a answer, you can that day,but after 4 hours??Why not after a certain amount of answers?I feel you on that..
