Who else is annoyed watching this? I want music, not how the US goverment is ----ing up. If I wanted that, I'd go to the politics section of FunQA.coms.

I'm not annoyed because I'm not wasting my time watching or listening to it. You want music, turn the propaganda machine off and put in some of your own. I will guarantee you will be a lot happier and more relaxed.

Well, that is what you get at things like this. All the activists come out. I think the music is bloody annoying, too. I think all the musicians are just a bunch of old "has-beens." I am really annoyed they have jetted in all these so-called musicians and wasted all that energy as well as the waste in vehicles, too. It is all about money. If they really wanted to bring about awareness they would have put a FREE concert on the internet.
One of our major problems is that people want to be entertained all the time, and not face up to significant issues. Not think and contribute their thoughts. Maybe not even think of the solution.
Dunno if this reflects on a general breeding down of intellect by social policies, or the psychological changes in the cultural environment to want to forget all problems rather than solving them.
Remember that those who do not learn from the past are condemned to repeat it, and many cultures in the past perished in a surfeit of shallow pleasures and getting rid of inconvenient thinkers.
I do not know how the particular show went, but I would salute anybody with the courage to get up and talk, whether right or wrong, on important issues rather than playing to the lowest common denominator and making everybody feel good that are are no real issues to be faced.
And after all, you had the whole rest of the program to get your non-thinking entertainment fix!
I'm not annoyed because I would not waste my time watching this crap.
