Where can I recycle Brother ink Cartridges?
What's wrong with Brother?!?!
Answer:
Go to the Brother website here (I'm assuming you are in the UK):
http://www.brother.co.uk/g3.cfm/s_page/8...
Fill in the form (not sure why because they don't appear to use the info) and then print off a pre-paid label which you can use to send the empty cartridges back to Brother.
tesco recycle all cartridges as far as I know, and I think you get clubcard points to.
Have you tried Tesco? I have the same trouble with Epson
Some companies which would be happy to accept your Brother cartridges for recycling:
go to your nearest BestBuy store. Infront of the store, you should find 3 bins, 1 for ink cartridges and computers, 1 bin for cellphone products, and 1 for other electronics. you take one of te paper packs and shove the item in the bag. then, drop the bag with the ink cartridge in it into the bin.
Check your local Petsmart. Check the manufacturer also, sometimes they take them back.
Recycling Inkjet Cartridges Helps the Environment
At PrintCountry, we care about the environment. That is why we've instated a recycling program that takes your used or empty printer cartridges and disposes of them properly. We want to do our best to help prevent further harm to our environment through educating our customers about the necessity of recycling printer inkjet and laser toner cartridges.
Although, currently the U.S. recycles 28% of its waste - a rate that has almost doubled in the past 15 years, only 5% of empty printer cartridges are being recycled. This is terrible news for future generations as 95% of printer cartridges are discarded and end up in landfills.
Not to mention the fact that the lack of printer cartridge recycling is costing tax-payers more and more money. Printer cartridge users such as schools and businesses are adding millions of tons of waste each year to our overflowing landfills.
What you can do to help
You can make a difference in the wellbeing of the environment and the preservation of future generations by simply recycling your empty inkjet and laser toner cartridges. We enclose a prepaid recycle pouch with all PrintCountry orders containing eligible cartridges. Simply return the empty cartridges to us and we will ensure that they are reconditioned for future use or disposed of in a proper manner*.
Note: This is a voluntary program. We do not issue credit or refunds for empty cartridges returned to us using the prepaid recycle pouch.
