Where can I get Fire management accreditation for the Parks & Wildlife Service in NSW?

I want to be a ranger. They need level 1 Fire management accreditation. I've looked everywhere in NSW (on the web) and can't find anything.

Answer:
Excuse my obviousness, but if you can't find the information online, you will have to try and get it from live people. First see if there is a contact for the Ranger job posting. The recruiter should know where to get a required accredidation. If there is no contact, try calling the Parks and Wildlife Service directly. If they person who answers doesn't know, ask them who would know. As a last resort try finding people on professional sites that claim to have similar experience and contact them.
I believe that the first step is becoming a certified wildland firefighter. It's not a difficult process - usually only a week-long set of courses at a wildland fire academy. On the final day, you will get to do a live prescribed burn to test your skills. This will get you the basic wildland firefighter certification. Hope this helps.
