Can animals predict Earthquakes?

Answer:
When the tsunami was about to happen the animals started to book it like they knew ahead of time. I think it's possible for them to be able to predict or feel the vibrations ahead of time for a earthquake or Tsunami.
Some people claim that certain animals and insects act in a certain way before an earthquake occurs. These include cockroaches etc. I do not know whether this will help predict exactly where the eathquake is going to occur and how powerful it will be.
As far as predicting when an earthquake will hit days in advance-No! But hey do feel the quake coming several minutes before we do. They "might" get the feel of the air wave front or their feeling of the vibration (however slight) in the ground.
We humans either are not sensitive enough or our life cause us to over look this very slight changes.
some animals are sensitive to low wave sounds, lower than we can hear, others are sensitive to vibrations. So they hear or feel the quakes before we do, or feel those quakes too weak for us to feel but that can announce a bigger one.
yes they sure can
and will let you know when and that it's going to happen, yes yes yes they can
I think that animals can definately since an earthquake. They seem to have a sixth sense and know when things are going to happen.
The scientific answer is a resounding "NO".
However there are those who insist that science is wrong. They claim that animals act peculiar moments before an earthquake. Perhaps they can feel slight movements or deep resonate sounds. If so, then they might be able to "sense" something is not right moments before it happens.

Still, it does not look like scientists will ignore their instruments and use a dog or any other critter to replace it.
I honestly do believe that animals do predict Earthquakes. I live in a small town which hardly experiences earthquakes, but one night my dog started acting really strange..like barking, running, and just basically all around panicking like something was wrong. I didn't know what to do because he'd never acted like that before..and sure enough, a few minutes later..a little earthquake made itself known. They say animals have the ability to sense things that us humans cannot. Intersesting huh?
I think they can. They can feel it. The problem is we cant understand them about it. Of course, there are people who work with animals and MAYBE, in some situations, they would understand why animal is anxious.
Not so much predict but they sense a change in the magnetic field they also feel the movement way before it hits the surface
During the tsunami some of the ancient tribes of the Andaman and Nicobar islands that do not have much contact with the outside world sensed what had happened and even though they were all feared dead every one of them survived as they went to higher ground. I do not know how they did it but maybe they watched the animals behaviour and knew what it meant

there are always subtlke changes before natural disasters ,like vibrations ,changes in airpresure .
or heat or cold ,animals are much more astute and pick these up
With a tsunami airpresures move in front of the wave as with thunder storms animals feel this ,soi do I i can always feel when a storm is about to hit .
itsa called the quiet before the storm
earth quackes as well have subtle tremors that travel ahead
the tremors we have here in Mexico ,very often ,
have small vibrations just before the main rattle starts to happen.
Even if they could How do they tell us
