What kind of pollution does we have?

How many kind of it? Where is it come from? How do we get rid of it?

Answer:
we have pollution which is throwing garbage into land , water and air ! There are so many different kinds it's limitless! It all comes from trucks and cars because now more people have have cars and the use of buses is very few! People are more lazy now and they're not walking! But it's also from the garbage we throw! How do we get rid of it ? Well, people now a days dont listen after putting so much effort to make them stop and help a little! With our pollution! People should start using buses and start walking a little bit more and some factories should be taken out!

.....
Good question and i am thankful that now a days people care! About our future!

god bless you
There are many kinds of pollution:

Air pollution: The emissions from the tail pipes of cars, trains, planes, and motorcycles harm the environment and cause smog.

Water pollution: Oil spills and fossil fuel emissions can pollute water.

Light pollution: Too many lights in one area will make things way to bright. This is the problem in big cities because you cannot see the stars due to light pollution.
The human kind. How to get rid of it? Stop over reproducing.
root of all pollution is social pollution. it comes from our society .we can get rid of it by wearing our social responsibilities and not only our rights.
Pollution is when water, air or land becomes very dirty. Pollution can come in 4 different types effecting different types of areas in the world. Air pollution effects the air, water pollution effects the water and marine life, land pollution effects the land destroying life and the enviroment and there is also noise pollution that can effect our hearing. We all contribute to pollution in some way or another. Whether it be with a large amount or small amount we can still cause major damage to our health and the enviroment.

AIR POLLUTION
Air pollution is a major problem effectng the entire world esspecially when we start burning forests which are the main source to oxygen (O2). Air pollution is very harmful it is destructive to living organs. The air is made of mainly of oxygen and nitrogen but it also contains tiny amounts of other gasses such as carbon dioxide, hydrogen and helium. most of it is nitrogen.

LAND POLLUTION
Mismanagement of the land will cause is becoming a big problem. The pollution it causes are soil erosion, degradation and salinisation are just a few other problems facing the state of our land. The causes are losing 6 hectares of land every year and losing 24 billion tons of top soil. Globally we are losing a minimum of 15 million acres of prime agricultural land to overuse and mismanagement every year.
Desertification is threatening about one third (sixteen million square miles) of the world’s land surface.

WATER POLLUTION
Water covers 70% of the earth and only 3% of fresh water. 1% of fresh water and 2% of frozen fresh water. Pollution is a major cause to life. It impacts on marine life and is a major impact to life in the whole world.
Subsequently, we are slowly but surely harming our planet to the point where organisms are dying at a very alarming rate. In addition to innocent organisms dying off, our drinking water has become greatly affected as is our ability to use water for recreational purposes. In order to combat water pollution, we must understand the problems and become part of the solution.

Many causes of water pollution including sewage and fertilizers contain nutrients such as nitrates and phosphates. In excess levels, nutrients over stimulate the growth of aquatic plants and algae. Excessive growth of these types of organisms consequently clogs our waterways, use up dissolved oxygen as they decompose, and block light to deeper waters.
The pollution is also caused when silt and other suspended solids, such as soil, wash off plowed fields, construction and logging sites, urban areas, and eroded river banks when it rains. Under natural conditions, lakes, rivers, and other water bodies undergo Eutrophication, an aging process that slowly fills in the water body with sediment and organic matter. When the sediments various bodies of water, fish and other marine life respiration becomes impaired. Pollution in the form of organic
material enters waterways in many different forms as sewage, as leaves and grass clippings, or as runoff from livestock feedlots and pastures.
When natural bacteria and protozoan in the water break down this organic material, they begin to use up the oxygen dissolved in the water. Many fish or other marine life can not survive when oxygen levels drop below two to five parts per million. When this occurs, the fish will gradually die and the food chain will get disrupted meaning the marine life will gradually disappear.

Source Reduction – waste (hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminants) should be prevented at the source (i.e. prior to recycling, treatment, or disposal)
Recycling – waste generated should be reused either in the process that created it or in another process
Treatment – waste that cannot be recycled should be treated to reduce its hazard
Disposal – waste that is not treated should be disposed of in an environmentally safe manner.
Some consider that incineration is a form of recycling (converting waste to energy), others a form of treatment (converting a hazardous substance to carbon dioxide, water, and ash).

also saving water, turning to solar heating/electricity and much more can be done to help our environment
Hi,
As we all know abt 3 kinds of pollution.
1.Water which is mainly contaminated by sewages which is both in urban, rural areas in india. There should be a system to treat the sewage water and these water should not be diverted to rivers.May be our environmental dept(govt) should concentrate on it.
Now lot of technologies are avaialble to treat the water.

2.Air pollution is mainly due to automobiles sox,nox emmissions.& by industries.
Each and every citizen of our country have the responsibility to save our environment
Sound pollution
Air pollution
Water pollution.
Light pollution.
Social pollution.
Cyber pollution.
AIR pollution
Water pollution
Noise pollution
plastic pollution
wastage pollution
etc......

As per queation to rid of... at current stage we cant but we can still decrease it.......
reuse of Items, avoid plastic bags, plant trees, try to not pollute water in rivers, etc..
Not that easy and short to answer your question - it is really an open ended question.

In India, pollution can be categorised as Air, Solid, Liquid, and Noise.

Air Pollution - Mostly due to fugitive emission from industries, vehicles, dust from construction sites. logistics of tarnsferring sand and to some extent air pollution due to sand storms.

Water Pollution - Mostly due to discharge of wastewater from industries, domestic sewage, surface-run offs carrying pesticides etc., flooding and erosion.

Solid Pollution - Mostly due to industrial solid waste, garbage from household, institutions and hospitals.

I guess you know how to combat these pollution due to non-natural causes. Technically, they are not a problem, political will and finance is required to get rid of them.
Water, air, noise and many more. Most of them are due to human activities. We need the combined efforts of all to get rid of this. Everyone is aware so far but no one takes it to heart yet.
water , air, soil, noise pollution.we human is responsible for the cause of these pollutions. water gets polluted mainly by the waste disposed by factories. this also some times pollute soil. so it should be diverted away from the rivers. air pollution is mainly from the smoke emerging from factories, automobiles, etc. so for this we have to grow more trees and use some bio diesels from sugarcane wastes. soil polution is mainly by undisposal of pastic items & eletronic wastes. for this, usage of plastics should be banned. these electronic wastes should be disposed properly. other pollution is noise from the vehicles. so we can make a ban on pipe horns, powerful horns. also, if we grow trees, this sound pentration will be decreased.
there are mainly 5:-
air
water
soil
thermal
noise
they come from all th effluents
mainly,use eco-friendly products
