Answer:
Don't tell me you love dolphins and whales as well , you are a real soul mate, mate.
OK I have now watched it and am sobbing my f***g heart out.
I was doing marches for save the whales in London before half of the people on here were born,I hate the Japs with a vengeance,I have seen so many of these things for so many years ,why is it still going on,my bro campaigns for them endlessly, what a ** world huh.
Ok all done i'm glad you showed it to me i have signed
omg... all signed. xx
The Japanese are already known for many fishing and food atrocities. We used to raise and ship them horses for horse meat. There will most likely come a day when this Island will be wiped out by natures revenge. No doubt these aren't the only people who do this anyway. What's worse is their cruelty and callous behavior over it. They just see food and a threat to their own waters and food source. They do this to whales too. What about Darfur?
There must be something wrong - I keep starring the question but it clearly isn't registering it.

Edit: I've received a confirmation e-mail back from the petition people and it includes text that you can copy and forward on to others. Please sign this petition everyone, and then copy and paste the relevant part of the e-mail you will receive, and then forward on to everyone you know who cares in the slightest for these beautiful, intelligent creatures.
Thanks.
terrible.
That's a D** shame nothing should ever have to go through so much misery and pain. No REAL explaination was given for the deaths of these beautiful animals. I hate to see slaughters of any kind that was just ridiculous!!! I am mad as HELL!!!!!!!!!
Sad, I lived in Okinawa for awhile. Mainland Japan though is different. Food is important but I do think this is bad at first sight. It's a business and for profit. Therein lies the solution. My signature won't affect an outcome, it must be done by the Japanese culture itself.
I don't... thanks for the points anyway...
What about chickens?

Or go to this page to see whatever animal you want (cows, pigs, turkeys) getting their throats slit, see how they are raised in cramped quarters, etc.

This is what we eat. That is why (although I think it is terrible what they are doing to the dolphins) I won't sign your petition because we are no better than them. We just raise them terribly first and then kill them.
I agree with "baby bunting".
Humans are carnivores, they eat meat.
Simon, just cause you haven't SEEN a cow being dragged behind a truck dose not mean it has never happened. In some ways, the slaughter of any animal, including man himself, can be considered less then humane!
People like you need to make a list of which animals we can and can not slaughter for food, and please state your reasons why one animal is exempt from being a food source over another!
However, I do agree that animals that are to be slaughtered should be done so in a manner that causes the least amount of pain and suffering!

Simon, yes it is true that YOU did not mention they were/are being use as a source of food, but the link YOU provided did! At the very end they showed how dolphins were being used in food products, albeit often mislabeled as a whale product! I am not against your petition, however I think, "If your in for a penny, your in for a pound", meaning, if you are going to protest the cruelty done to one animal, you should protest the cruelty done to ALL animals, including the ones we eat and man's cruelty to man! Anything less would be hypocritical!
Thanks. I've signed.

That video was appalling, and the first time I've ever seen something like that with dolphins. It did however remind me of scenes I have seen of what turtle egg predators do to turtles, when they murder an endangered turtle to rip the eggs out, because they don't want to wait for it to lay the eggs. And all to improve their sex life. When I was helping protect those turtles, what struck me was how few people can be bothered to do anything about this. We really are messing up the world.
