Watch how much water you use. Don't just let the water run in the sink then walk away. Take shorter showers.
Don't run your sprinklers all the time. Instead use the drip method.
Use less toilet paper. No need for a lot.
Car pool with people instead of 3 or 4 people driving to the same place.
You can volunteer to help clean beaches or parks.
You can volunteer to plant trees and flowers at local parks or schools.
Just a few.
Pick up litter and participate in clean rivers programs.
They do allot of good.
Don't waste your time with the "Green" crowd
plant a garden,dont buy processed food or items from other countries,if you find a small tree in a park or on the side of the road that may be cut or die, put it in a pot and start growing little trees.And you could sell them for a reasonable price or trade and do that as a job(if your young) instead of working at a fast food joint that causes alot of pollution and disease. Dont buy things you really dont need and have yard sales for things you may otherwise throw out.Eat less meat, and buy from you local farmer's market.This stuff will save you alot of money and make you feel good, and once you start feeling so great more and more ideas will enlighten you.
The best way to fight climate change is to donate to either a well known charity, or a non-profit carbon offsetter.
