Is anyone scared of the weather?
Answer:
The best way not to be afraid of the weather is to be prepared for it and don't watch the news, watch the weather channel. The three little pigs story is more appropriate now than ever before.
I think this is rather sweet, I must be going soft...
There's no need to be scared...
Usually not, since heavy rainfall is quite rare in California.
Yeah i see your point but for myself i love the stormy, rainy weather it's kind of soothing and refreshing to me. :3
The thing I worry about is tornados as from the age of 4 I had nightmares of trying to dodge tornados when they were coming towards me. With our crazy weather we have had more of these horrid things and that really scares me
We're having a bad drought down here in Georgia so I welcome as much rain as we can get.
I live in tornado alley and I am not scared. I was once stuck in traffic on a flooded road while the radio was reporting a tornado sighted on the ground near me and headed my way. The next day the news showed a building that had its roof torn off by the tornado, and I had driven past that building 10 minutes earlier. OK, so I was a little scared that time, but usually I am not scared.
I think with the unpredictable weather and the recent terror threats everyone is feeling unsettled.
Stop watching the news.
I understand that, since there are severe weather (flooding) warnings out. However, staying away from the parts that can be flooded will keep you safe. Hopefully your house is safe from the water.
Scared . No, more concerned about the reason WHY
Concerned and sorry for the folks who are loosing their homes and livelihoods right now, there seems very little cover via the media, which also concerns me, think about it.
Not a lot about it on the news considering the scale of damage, WHY?
it's scary, especially when the climate changes in the same season (rain and wind one day, lots of sun the next day)
