Repeats of Simpsons and Family Guy conquer Live Earth in ratings. What's the messsage there?
Answer:
It's not just Simpsons repeats, every other network had higher ratings with their shows. They could have run a test pattern and drawn in the same low share.
It shows that morons who say we have to stop consumption can get their message through by asking people to consume...to get the message they ALREADY knew.
That doesn't seem like a fair analysis. Live Earth was on many different stations. Personally I watched it on Bravo. To pick one station (NBC's 3 hour primetime showing) and make a conclusion based on just that seems ridiculous to me. Especially since Live Earth was on from Friday through Saturday night in the US, I'm not surprised that few people were watching NBC's airing of the very end of the event.
Could be that as a mass the population doesnt care about pop singers and global warming.personaly i dont think they mix any way.I think a good way to get the message across is to blare natural disaster sirens, and have a very mono-scary voice come on and explain to us how the world is falling apart. That'll stick in ppls heads.
That Al Gore and his celeb minions are clueless. What a joke.
Could be that people are realizing that global warming is such a scam and is in fact only theory.
In my area, (Bangor, Maine) the Live Earth concert was not available broadcast or on cable. That might be part of the answer.
Easy - there are more stupid people than smart ones. Didn't we know that already?
I predict the new Simpson's Movie will surpass Sicko at the box office too!
It simply means Fox caters to the lowest common denominator.
Besides rock n roll is not everyone's choice.
Wow, this completely disproves global warming! Well done, Mr. Science.
Who cares - Live Earth is about celebrities patting themselves on the back and selling ****.
Global warming is a real problem, please start listening to scientists rather than talk show hosts or musicians or politicians from either side.
