TO CHANGE GLOBAL WARMING, WE WOULD HAVE TO MAKE SEVERELY DRASTIC CHANGES IN OUR LIFESTYLE AND HABITS.MANY OF OUR CONVENIENCES ARE SEVERELY DAMAGING TO OUR HOME.: INDIVIDUALLY BOTTLED BEVERAGES, EXCESS PACKAGING, CARS USING GASOLINE, AIR CONDITIONING, CHEAP FACTORY PRODUCTION THAT WE SUPPORT, FULL BATHTUBS, THROWING EVERYTHING AWAY OR RECYCLING IT FOR THAT MATTER WITHOUT REUSING IT.ETC.WE HAVE TO MAKE SOO MANY CHANGES IN OUR OWN PERSONAL HABITS, AND THAT DOES NOT COME EASY TO HUMANS IT IS INCONVIENIENT
It's inconvenient because we have to take action to prevent global warming from causing catastrophic climate change. Basically if we don't do anything, there will be very bad consequences, but it will take some effort to make these changes. Thus while the reality of global warming and its consequences are the truth, they're inconvenient because that truth means we have to take actions to prevent the consequences.
Becuase it is inconvenient for people to have to change the way they live in order to slow down global warming.
Inconvenient for Politicians who have to stop taking money from large corporations who pollute.

When politicians attempt to "fix" global warming, it will be expensive and force changes in both industries and the way we do things. His label of "inconvenient" also is a shot toward the Bush administrations paid off scientists who tried to claim that global warming isn't real. Al Gore is implying that global warming is real and must be delt with, andf it is true whether or not you wish to believe it. It just is a political hot potato because, as a politician, you will be attacked no matter which stance on global warming you take. As an example, look at the hits Michael Moore took with his 9/11 movie, and yet what he showed us turned out to be all too true. I suppose that was also inconvenient, at least to the Bush administration.

First, algore is not a scientist. He wants to make a political statement, nothing else.
Second, the very same people that were crying about the world going into global cooling and the next ice age in the 70's are now the same ones that have jumped on the global warming boat. Now, we have one of the coldest springs on record and you hear nothing. The air waves are quiet. But we have one hot day and these people are whining and crying about global warming again.
Finally, I love reading scientific journals and find the facts on global climate very interesting. National Geographic, the global warming crowds greatest media supporter, actually did a show on studying the CO2 levels in arctic ice. They showed how the level and climate temps fluctuate every 150 to 200 years and make drastic changes in time periods that are much greater. They even stated in this program that the world is on schedule for a slight warming period. Now why do you suppose this program has been buried?
Too many people are jumping on the global warming wagon without knowing the science involved. Do your homework and leave your bias thinking at home.
because everybody has to change their bad environmental habits if the do not want to become anti social
and instead of driving to work in the limo it will become more environmentally correct to take the bycicle or heaven forbid ,even walk.
Using less water to wash ,going for the bidet instead of the toilet roll,sorting out or clasifying your trash instead of just dumping it all together in one bin.And having to think more.
And at government level imposing stricter controls on production and by products ,changing laws ,educating people ,becoming more responsible
All very inconvenient for everybody.
