EDIT: For those who do not take the time to analyze scientific research then it is obvious that they will make compounded errors of judgment and poor choices. Never disaggregate the parts of a system (deep ecology principle).
Reviewing a wide selection of literature is important, from many sources. This is not recognized by many and it is these who reach only part of the conclusion. This also explains why the ultimate solution may be correct 'Forests are a resource that could help mitigate global' warming' but the erroneous thinking has led to unsupportable ideas and parasitism.
Without a mutalistic approach (another deep ecology concept) we are never going to reach any consensus.
To paraphrase Edmund Burke ' All it takes for evil to triumph is for the good folks to do nothing, or to just go away'.

hopefully the terms are sufficiently simplified that i won't have to use psychic powers to decipher them... i like my survival techniques to be simple, effective, and environmentally friendly.

It's more of a joke book than a serious attempt at a global warming survival handbook. Some good ideas, but nothing new; not really worth the $14.95 price tag if you think the title will be an indication of the contents.
