2) The ozone layer - hmmm...I guess it's ok to get that wind-proof hold without worrying about braising the earth in ocean sauce.
3) Red wine is bad for you - Definition of a poison? Too much. Even Jesus drank wine and used it in his first miracle.
4) Global warming - how can we trust tempurature readings from the year 1900!?!
What's next? A fake emergency vacuum will develop as soon as the global warming "crisis" abates.

No. They can make up this crap at will. No need for a long list, because they hammer away for years on each one. I think while the current team is burning up their credibility, they've got the "B" team hard at work annointing the next group of "experts" who will try to shame us all into submitting to global totalitarianism. When the current emergency response team runs out of hot air, the "B" team comes in with the new gimmick and distances itself from the previous scammers, who can then go back to work creating the next one. So they really only need to have 2 sinister plots in the cooker at any one time.

Since being discovered in 1981, 25 million people have died from AIDS making it "one of the most destructive epidemics in history." 8,500 people die a day from AIDS (that's more than four 9/11's every day).
2) The ozone layer was the largest it's ever been in 2006. Fortuatnely, BECAUSE ACTION WAS TAKEN in the 1980's to ban CFC's, the hole is expected to show signs of recovery after 2050. Maybe your kids will live long enough to witness that.
3) Red wine? WTF? Yeah, red wine is really the most pressing environmental issue of our time.
4) Global Warming: One technique that scientists use to gather weather data going back hundreds of millions of years.is by taking ice core samples from the polar icecaps which traps gasses and other meteorlogical data showing the whole history of the Earth's climate.
What's more likely. that the world's scientists and doctors are conspiring to create fake disasters?? Or maybe, just maybe, YOU DON'T READ THE NEWSPAPERS.

"AIDS: Practically everyone with AIDS lives in S. Africa. The solution? Stay away from S. Africa."
There are approximately 40 million people world wide with AIDS. 5 million in S. Africa. A lot but not even close to practically everybody. India has just as many. 1 million in the US.
