Want to save electricity? Want free lighting? Reduce global warming? Live in a brighter world? Have a look..?
Answer:
Hmmm. now how can we be "greeny" if we were to suggest everyone experience the live exhibition in Delhi? Travelling should be limited as much as possible to avoid more CO2 emission! I would suggest to post the website address for the exhibition if available in the near future. Or do you have pix of the exhibit?
Also... surely, it is a good idea not to have the light on when we have the bright shinning sun. Personally, I make sure my kids (4-year and 2-year) move the table nearer to the window so that they do not have to turn on the light (even it is an energy saving light!) during the day.
Plus, during the night, my kids are allow to turn on the light if they were to read or write. Otherwise, the night light of 4 watts will be used in our house. Without being told, my kids will auto unplug the night light when they wake up. But make sure you teach them to be careful not to simply unplug any appliances as it is dangerous for young kids to play with the electricity.
Educate the young minds at a tender age. Don't forget we also must set a good example by saying what we meant... or else, be prepared to hear these from your kids, "Mommy, how come you did not turn off the light?" or "Mommy, how come this TV is still plug-in?". You got it... I caught by surprise with what my kids have learned from me.
