Is ´Tetra Pak´ recyclable as paper or plastic?
Answer:
a big yes! here in our community, we make great bags from it and sell it in a good price. cool enough! we earn money from junks.
I don't think so. Neither paper nor plastic. Many of the food industry packaging consist of multi-layer structures: paper, aluminum foil, adhesive, different type of polymer layers to provide different performance. The end result is the recycling facilities will not be able to separate these components for recylcing.
However, in the society we live in today, most of our food supply is not produced locally. Food packaging is critical to deliver the food, diary products, etc. to us while maintaining the neutrition and food safety.
Supporting local farmers is very important for green living but we would still need food packaging such as "tetra pak"
here's a map from their website so that you can check if you can recycle it:

plastic
HEY! READ THIS! WM produced a video for my school and it stated everything but food is recycleable! so, scoop your food in the trash, through everything else in the RECYCLE!
If the packaging isn't labeled as recyclable, I would check with the manufacturer to find out. I believe it may be a combination of paper, plastic and metal. Am I right?
