What's their problem? Aren't they into the spirit of awareness for Global Warming?
Is this concert actually just a big scam to make money for the artists and venues and really, when it comes down to it, it's not going to make one single micro-iota's bit of difference regarding the climate?

I think the concerts should be 100% free, in the spirit of global climate awareness, with the artists donating their time and money in exchange for every concert goer promising to plant a tree.

LOL absolutely, all of this is about creating awareness of THEM.
The concert itself needs to be "unplugged" and shown exclusively over digital radio / satellite so people won't have to create CO2 in order to go watch it.

if you dont complain about the people who cash in on ruining the planet dont complain about people trying to save the planet. these are great events which we need to save our way of life. If we let our planet get destroyed by greedy and selfish jerks then our kids and grand kids will suffer.
I think it would make more sense if people were smart enough not to follow whatever cause celebre vapid, self-indulgent elites have decided to foist upon the rest of us. Rock stars are not known for their acute knowledge of science, policy, economics, or anything else that isn't the music business.
