Freecycle! who else LOVES it??

I used to love it but find that in some areas (as I have moved around the country a lot!) that the moderators love themselves and want to take over the world. In other areas, they couldn't care less, who submits what, including freecycle debates and then posts nothing for 3 days. I know people have to go on holiday, hence why you ask others to cover but the groups will cease to be. I am setting up womble groups across the country as an alternative (under Yahoo Groups).

It is a pretty good place. Was able to unload some stuff that I didn't want but someone else had a good use for it! At least some mom with two small boys got a free computer I couldn't sell.
It looks very good. Ive signed up, but never used it. I have some crap that I don't think anyone would even want for free. lol
I do- I found my town's FreeCycle community a few years ago, and check it daily.

Freecycle is great! I've found alot of baby items that people "freecycled". One time, it was someone right down the street giving her stuff away. When we're done with these items, we'll freecycle them to someone else.
I do, what a concept! Yeah for keeping things out of landfills!
Land fills are good
Idea is great, but you get the ones that sell on, I like to think I have helped somone benefit from an item that they needed, no make a profit.
I also get frustrated with no shows!
Yes gave away our old camcorder. Went to a good home.
I'm a member and a big fan too.
I haven't actually found anything yet. I do look them over though. It's very novel idea & I'm sure lots of people have been helped by it.
