How organisms obtain energy?

Answer:
organism divides into two category, food producer and food consumer.

food producer will be plant, algae etc. food producers usually contain a chemical called chlorophyll. Chlorophyll allows them to us sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose (this process is called photosynthesis).

when organism needs energy, their body will break down the glucose into carbon dioxide and water again. during this process, energy will be given out.

when the animal eats the food producer, they will receive 10% of their energy. then another animal will eat that animal, and the animal will receive 10% of its prey energy.

this is how organism obtain energy.
All organisms use chemical processes to create energy. In humans the digestive process takes the food we eat and breaks it down to simple sugars that are used my the muscles and produce waste, including CO2.
Through the earting process.
through obtaining it from other animals how the animal uses this energy and how well it digests it depends on the animal.
It is almost universal for organisms to need some sort of water source for it to live.
depending on plant or animal it can obtain it from other plants, the sun other animals etc. as long as there is another energy source for it to live off.
