Where's the nicest place in North Carolina to live?

Answer:
In my opinion, Charlotte. It's a great city with lots of job and recreation choices, and the real estate there is booming. I'll be moving there in years to come, if everything goes well.
Either on the coast or in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville.
big state...if you like mountains...asheville. if you like ocean, try Morehead City or Wilmington. If you like big cities...charlotte.
Lake Norman
I love the Raleigh / Durham area. There are lakes, big cities, not far from the beach, lots of pluses. However, Ashville was just voted to be the best place to relocate to in the USA.
For a brief period of time, I lived just south of Wilmington. That is a great area, that is starting to grow. You have the option of going to great beaches and Myrtle Beach is not too far away (if you like that toristey stuff). Lots of Golf Courses, etc... Wilmington has a college and even a television production studio. (that is where One Tree Hill is shot and Dawsons Creek) Charlotte is also a great place, but very big.
Good Luck!
Greensboro
