Which is a bigger problem, CO2 or nuclear waste?
Answer:
CO2. It's not a close call. Global warming threatens us with economic disaster coping with the effects.

We know perfectly well how to bury waste safely. It's just a political problem to select a site. For just one example,

Both. But the Global warming bubba's will say CO2.
Cheers!
CO2 at the moment because we still have plenty of room for nuclear waste.
nuclear waste...because it has more radioactive waste and is more toxic and difficult to dispose unlike CO2. This toxic wastes can contaminate air, soil, and groundwater which can greatly affect people and other living things around it.
CO2 is a greenhouse gas which contributes to the global warming, but it can be resolved by planting more trees and plants..we all know that CO2 is needed by the plants for photosynthesis as well as the sunlight and water.
Nuclear waste is not bad because their is still allot of room to put it. Eventually it will be a problem when we run out of room but that is still a good ways away, we just have to make sure it stays in a safe spot. CO2 is a bigger problem in my opinion, it wouldn't be that big a problem as long as people start being smart about getting better cars that don't burn off as much CO2. We need to start massing alternative energy sources like solar power.
CO2
Nuclear waste is not a global problem, it is contained and localized to the specific site where it is held.
That all depends on where they happen to be. CO2 to a plant may seem like heaven, to the people living around Lake Nyos, certain death.

Nuclear waste can represent the realized potential of clean energy, or as further potential in a third or fourth generation reactor. A suitcase full of nuclear waste and C4 in the hands of a jihadist - horrific disaster.
But if I had to pick one, it would be nuclear fuel because there are no natural cycles to return it to its original state.
we have to start picking good alternatives instead of picking the least bad alternative.
Neither are a problem.
CO2. Nuclear waste can and is contained for storage. There is plenty of almost uninhabital areas of the earth to store it. CO2 is killing us NOW. We could use Nuclear until new technologies could be devloped.
There are many problems, but the main one is cancer.
Neither. All the hype.
Neither is a problem.
