When you have hard, dirty water, and can't afford a filter, etc. what to do?
Our dishes and silverware have white stains on them, and our skin is getting super-dry. Black marks from where this water fills the toilet are very hard to get rid of.

boil your water or get a lower priced filter
boil-strain through cheese cloth.
Save up for a filter.
ok are grocery store has a thing where u can fill up u'r gallon of water for 33 cents..we use that adn we have really hard water,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so are showers are like orangeidh yelloe..so i can relate to u alot.. and to get riad of the stains u can use ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... idk what it is called but it can get u high if u r in the room to long lol

the choices are buy water,
use the water,
buy a filter and use the water.
if you don't like it unfiltered, (and i don't blame you) then by far, it's cheaper to get a filter than buy water.

but use activated charcoal instead of gravel.
and just make it a bit larger where it filters into a large plastic barrel that the rest of the house draws water from.
just make sure you keep drinking the bottled water or boil it and put into fridge for drinking water, until you can afford a water filter.
