There are these orange cacoon type things found in my yard some places..?

Every time I find some its usually on my cats sometimes, and when you go outside there are some in the grass. There is never anything in it, but I just want to know what it is. It is easily breakable, it has a old leaf texture kind of like very thin tissue paper I guess. They have a little bumps on the outside made of the same material. Anyone know what this is?

Answer:
Abandoned cocoons that have blown off trees or bushes.
