What is the longest season of the year, and does it change from year to year?

Answer:
The year is divided into 4 equal seasons. They don't change in length.
hii,..the seasons differ at different places on the planet,...
like in india we have three seasons,..monsoon,.summer and winter,...but some might consider rainy as summer,..
though it rains bout six months in mumbai,..
i'd call it the longest season,..
but tecnically,..all seasons r divided equally.
there is 4 seasons, and they are all the same length as far as i know, it just seems like some are longer than others.
If you have ever lived in the upper midwest, you would know that "Road Construction" is the longest season of the year.
I have to agree with Marc
