The energy sources we use today are high in pollutants- adding to much of the environmental issues presented by scientists. However, contrasting to the energy sources we use today, solar energy can actually help us stop the intense amount of pollution we give off into our environment. This is so because solar energy is pollution free, meaning it does not give off any carbon and does not present any danger to our environment. In addition to this, solar energy is also renewable; the sun gives off constant light from day in to day out.

delete the Hyphen, replace the period with a comma and lower case the H in however, you could also make 'the sun gives off constant light from day in to day out.' into a separate sentence. That is pretty much it everything else seems fine.
And lets not forget the polluting factories that manufacture the materials needed in the making of the panels and the necessity of upkeep in maintaining the future of massive quantities for the populations that continue to grow needing more and more and more. With present habits and the incapability to accept change It will be a long long time before everyone sits down to consider what is good for our society as a 100% healthful way of life..
