This warmins is caused by the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is when Ultraviolet (UV) Light gets trapped in gases called greenhouse gases. Examples include Methane, Carbon Dioxide, and Chloroflourocarbons (CFCs).

Global warming is the heating of the planet. One idea that has been around for awhile is called the greenhouse effect. The planet Venus is a good example of this, it has a runaway greenhouse effect going on, (surface temp around 740 K, hot enough to melt lead, it's also hotter than Mecury which is closer to the Sun, but no cloud cover). Venus is covered in dense clouds. The clouds hold in the suns energy, and heat up the ground. Some believe the pollution we spew into our atmosphere is causing this effect on our planet. Which doesn't take much thought because we are obviously polluting the sky with thick brouwn clouds.
global warming is the constant raising the earths temperature. it is caused by CFC(chlorofluorocarbons). they break down the ozone in the atomoshere that protects earth from heating up too much. it ''soaks'' up so of the rays from the sun.CFC are found in things like hair spray cans and re refrigerators. hope this info helps you out!

These are the same politicians and "scientists" who tried to scare people with "global cooling" and "A second Ice age" in the 70's because the Earth's temperature started declining in the 40's.
