i am wondering, your parents say you have to leave your house, how old are you? apparently old enough to live on your own but not old enough to know that you don't have to move just because they "said so"? get a loan on the house and fix it up. that's what banks are for. that's if you own the house. your question is not real clear on details of your living arrangements.☺

What you need to do is buy a home of your own as soon as possible, before the housing market takes off again.
Right now the housing market is rather soft. It is easy to buy a house right now. There are more people that want to sell houses than there are people who want to buy houses.
In California we have an excellent state sponsored first time home buyer program that does not require any money down and the interst rate is less than you would pay for a conventional loan.
I would check to see if there are any programs like where you live that which will help you buy a home of your own.
Why do you have to leave it, do it up, if money is a problem then do it yourself gradually.
