Is Global Warming going to turn this planet into water world, should i start building a boat soon?
Answer:
global warming will result in the end of the earth. so instead of building a boat or learning to swim we should find measures to reduce pollution and other gases which are responsible for this.
No not quite like in water world, although that is one theory. This is a very debated topic right now but most researchers agree that because snow and ice caps are melting water levels will rise but also the global warming is going to let out heat from our planet into the atmosphere so most likely it will be a second ice age. So if were still alive...nuclear weapons... if you see a talking group of animals run away, run far far away, sorry I just wanted to make an Ice Age reference.
Snorkels, fins and a swim class. But only if you are going to live for another 1,000 years or so.
Actually, learn to swim and snorkel and stop worry if a disaster is around the corner. (They even have flotation belts now. All you have to do is move the flippers. LOL)
Do you plan on living another thousand years? That's about when you'll have to worry about it.
Well, global warming is causing the seas to rise but over a big period like 100 years, the change will be seen. I don't think you should be building a boat.
No, it won't happen anytime soon. Wouldn't buy beach-front property though, if you think that.
I would definitely learn to swim
yes, eventually this will be a water world
but don't worry, it will be your prodigy that will need the boat
enjoy your life and don't add to the problem
Did you know that you are made entirely out of co2 as are all living things. and did you know that the ocean is the greatest CO2 emitter. Check out this documenty on you tube its is done buy the head climitologist at MIT, and the head of the IPCC. Its called the The great global warming swindal. It seperates fact from popular held myths of Global warming. its 8 parts or about a hour long

Just more fodder for the Kool-Aid drinking, non science, Eco-marxist morons. Mostly a bunch of regurgitating slaves to the politically driven, fear peddling media machine. Perhaps it would be adventagious for this group to get busy building a Global Warming flotilla..a productive endeavor, as futile as Carbon Offset and Eugenics. It's the SUN...Get some Science, then make your point.
Only on the coast. Everything else will be desert or tundra.
Kinda worked out for Noah and his family. Oh wait! That was a flood, you know...lot's a rain. A real thing, not some fantasy called global warming.
Like someone said earlier in this category. It didn't destroy the earth in the middle ages, it won't now.
The hypocrital al gores of this world, who by the way consume more in energy than at least 3 times my teacher's salary, are arrogant enough to believe that humans can destroy the planet. Yeah right. And he invented the internet too!
LOL......
Climate change is natural..it's been going on for years.
The only opinion I have is to recycle as much as possible and quit littering.
The Inconvenient Truth is the third-highest-grossing documentary in the United States to date.
The film's distributor, Paramount Classics, is donating 5% of the box office receipts and Gore is donating all of his proceeds from the film to The Alliance for Climate Protection (of which Gore is both founder and chairman).
If it was such a sucessful documentary, why is Paramont donating ONLY 5% ? And Gore is putting 100% to a company he is chairman...sounds odd to me.
Do you remeber how resourceful recycling was in the movie?
don't forget your life jacket
Global Warming will not turn the planet into Waterworld, because there is not enough ice on land to do this. Ice at sea does not change sea level when it melts. If all the ice on land melts and runs into the sea, the level will rise maybe twenty feet. All you must do to stay out of it is to live in an area where the entire economy is more than 20 feet above historical mean sea level.
No. The pace of global warming will not make a significant change in your lifetime to the waterlevels. It may possibly make some nasty weather.
