Every measure of quality of life has improved steadily for centuries.
Average lifespan in developed countries has increased by over 30 years in the last century.
teenagers having babies really young and dieing too soon. I agree I wonder whats wrong with the world too. We can do something to stop it but nobody is. I am trieing but there is nothing much i could do.

Nothing's gone wrong with it. it was always wrong. Most everything is a waste of time and there honestly is no real point to anything we do :|
Really good question. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone really has the answer for that. People are declining more and more everyday. Bored/depressed teenagers turn to drugs, parents aren't involved, we're fighting a war that doesn't need to be fought. Don't get me wrong, I think war is needed sometimes. But, what are we REALLY fighting for right now?

I think there are a lot of selfish people who inhabit this earth.
Let's see - wars and rumors of war. Poverty. Racism. Global Warming. Those'll keep us busy for awhile, don't ya think?

Common sense is no longer valued. The incompetent rise to power in both business and politics.
We are actually very fortunate.
When you compare what has happened to people in the past we are living in a very wonderful time.
Only several hundred years ago people lived very short brutish lives. People died very young of disease.
People could not get adequate nutritious food.
The disparity between rich and poor was huge. Most people were very poor and lived miserable wretched lives. Only the very rich could live with any comfort whatsoever.
We are very fortunate today. Most of the really terifying problems have been solved.
The fact that we consider Global Warming to be one of the worst problems that we are facing demonstrates that most of our real problems ahve been solved.

Slack in morals; lack of compassion. People stepping over other people to get 'to the top'. Man thinking he's important enough that he can control everything.
I think we all ask ourselves that question. Look into sustainable development, i think it definately helps find answers. Everything is connected.
You just turn on the tv, the news is suppose to be a report on what is going on in the world, what concerns us, what we share. Why is there a stock market report and a sport segment everyday? Who really values these things?? Were suppose to, but i doubt most do. I dont find much value or connection with them. So sports and the stock market are part of the problem ! haha:P.
