There is always some crisis that will destroy all of humanity, and they must tax us to the fullest extent in order to save us from our evil SUV drivin' selves. Remember, the American public is far too stupid to actually take care of themselves, without the government to do so who on Earth could actually function on their own?

Carbin credits are just another money making scheme. What kind of BS is "waste energy, but buying Cabon credits will take care of it".

I dont understand how global warming is a world tax? no one should have to buy CO2 credits but there are many things one can do to be responsible in life. such as buying energy star appliances, replacing light bulbs, buying green energy for their home and even driving a hybrid. those little changes make such a difference in the world. it is not only rewarding but reduces pollution on many levels. over the next ten years we will see unprecedented levels of efficiency being pushed on all levels on all businesses by the government. ultimately this will create jobs, benefit the consumer and help america regain its independance and get off of using foreign oil like it is water.
