Does anybody love the cold and snow?

Please somebody tell me I'm not the only one that loves the cold weather, snow, and all that comes with it. I have no problems to deal with -12F and drive slowly to work even for 6 months a year. And I mean I dont only like the cold when you can stay at home drinking herbal tea and watching TV, I like it aso when I'm outside and its hard to get out of your house or you have a thick layer of ice on your car in the morning. Ok I dont like ice on the ground and me walking on it. What I cant stand is the hot weather, temperatures over 83F, sticky humid weather. Unfortunately I live in Florida. Am I weird? Anybody else like me out there?

Answer:
I used to hate it. I used to be all about our nice, California weather. But it just too damn hot around here these days.

I was in Wisconsin to be with family in January and I absolutely LOVED it. The whole state is like a warm, inviting Norman Rockwell painting. I loved the snow. I've wanted to move there since I was a kid, they have nice seasons. My only complaint is that it's sooooo humid in the summer. And the mosquitoes are huge.
Love the snow! Don't love the cold so much.

That said, your living in Florida plays a big role in your feelings. I lived in Michigan for 25 years and HATED the cold. Now I live in Florida and I miss it. In the end, cold and heat are relative. In any case, it sounds like you need to move.
I love the tropics
with low laundry bills
and no heating bills ,just electricity to keep the fans going
I love the snow, and have always lived in Illinois. We get the worst of both worlds here, and the only time I don't like winter and snow is when I get snowed in (well, maybe its not so bad...)
I love the snow i can do w/ out the cold i like to snomobile so 5 inches or more is good
I to love the cold and snow, unfortunately it looks like everyone who answered you is male. Where are all the female answerers that I could offer a cold climate and a place to cuddle up this winter? That's my favorite part of winter,"cuddling season"
i think i have the same problem if it is a problem.i mean i dont think it is, but yeah i definitely prefer the cold, and winter weather. I love it so much i wish i could move to a place where the weather is like that most of the time. I like getting cozy and warming up with big jackets. I live in Los Angeles and the weather here is mostly hot, which i hate. So i guess im not alone cause we both think alike.
I've lived all over the states and I'm back in the NE with the snow the ice and the cold temps in the winter. I can't stand the heat in Texas and other places. I guess I will always be a northern girl and I'll keep my snow.
So you're not alone
I like snow but not so much the cold, but I like the heat also. NOt in with the ice though. Living in oklahoma, we get everykind of weather, you don't know what to expect from one day to the next.
Yeah, i hate it when it is hot and I would much rather be cold. That and i like ot live in the west so it sort of comes with the territory.
I love the cold and snowy weather. It is so much better than hot weather. When it's hot, you feel very exhausted. When it's cold, you have a lot of energy, and you sleep better at night too. You're not wierd for living in Florida by the way.
I absolutely love the cold and snow! Okay, maybe not quite 12 below zero F, but I'd take a 15F and snowy day over a 90 & humid day any day of the week! Luckily I live in an area that averages around 250 in. of snow per year so it's a good fit--cross country skiing here is amazing! However, I may end up out of my comfort zone like you--my husband is looking for jobs in the US southwest! Ah well, at least it's not humid there.

And besides, you can always put more layers of clothing off to combat the cold--you can only take so many off when it's hot!
I'm with you, man. The smog here is terrible.
Naw, it sucks.
Right now, while it's 104 here, I could learn to love it a lot. You can always get warmer...but you can't always cool off enough.
