What is the difference between a RESOURCE and a COMMODITY?

and which word best describes your view of LAND?

Answer:
resources are products that naturally occur in the earth such as water, air, minerals, timber, etc. a commodity is a product produced using resources by us to sell/use. My word that would best describe my view of land- I guess: diverse (u know all the different landforms and such). I do not think of land in a mine, yours, and theirs sort of way. Of course real estate comes to mind. When I think of land, I think of it in it's most basic state- shape, texture, contents, size, location.
Resources are thing we borrow from the world. Commodities are resources that have already been borrowed and are passing to other hands through trade. In the end, both end up going back to where they came from.
the sun is a resourse...what algore does with it is a commodity...land? free of water?? lots o' dirt.
