How many trees cut down end up as paper?

Answer:
From 1998 data for the U.S.: Almost half of the wood harvested is used for construction and building materials, and close to 30% of the wood is used to make pulp and paper.
So far as I know, that's the only use for cut down trees that can make you money,so my guess, all of them. But, they usually cut down trees for supply and demand,so use less paper, and less trees will be cut down.
All of the pulp wood crop cut down every year ends up as paper. All of the pulp wood crop that is being planted every year will also eventually end up as paper as well.
Is it not pine trees that go for making paper and all the pine trees are planted and are fast growing then harvested like any other planted crop. It also provides employment. I think the problem here is the energy that is needed to process the trees from cutting down, transport to the factory and making into paper.
