No such thing. You can't stop something that doesn't exist.
Actually, the most humorous thing I read is that farmers are attempting to get bovines to belch less to help in their cause against global warming. Haha.
Of course people believe in it. It's the hype of the media and will play an important role in the 2008 Elections.
yes i believe its a FACT, well i try my best to conserve power electiricty, water etc.. i dont litter ,i recycle , planting a new tree always helps too
Unless we can stop ocean water from evaporating we have a nearly inconsequential effect on "greenhouse gas".
The Earth warms and cools, completely indepently of humans. It didn't need us to do it before, and it doesn't need us now.
I believe in it. i try not to use so much of the air-con and off my computer when i'm noy using it =)
I recycle and freecycle. I find anything that can be recycled and do so. I also joined a local freecycle group. If you havn't heard of it , check it out. It saves tons of good things from landfills every day.
First learn how to spell. Nothing is more annoying that reading crappy computer lingo, it makes you look like an idiot.
And yes I try to do things to stop global warming.
I don't drive around alot, I walk to places I can.
I use fluorescent light bulbs, doesn't use as much energy.
I shut off the lights in rooms when no one is in there.
I take short, warm showers. about 5-10 minutes.
I don't use a hair dryer.
Basically I don't use alot of my homes energy. Therefore saving my mom money and lots of energy that contributes to global warming.
Stop driving your car and using electricity, and gas, and buying things and breathing. If we all do that, it will get better. I`ll bet a lot of things you cant live without are causing it. No going back once technology arrives.
Try to live 'green' ! Inform yourself and teach your friends what you've been able to find out about the problems of Global Climate Change,caused by global warming that we cause by burning fossil fuels. The real reason that the neo-cons are freaked out about the increased awareness of the changing climate, is that UNITES people in a COMMON CAUSE ! The Rove-bots would rather have us divided, and at each others throats, than us getting organized to do something ! Don't let the idiots here on YA try to BS you about how science is a load of crap. Stupid is as stupid does ! Science has always faced resistance from fearful ignorant folks !
I've changed all of the light bulbs in my house to the new proper ones that they recommend.
I also turn off the light on my computer monitor like was recommended when I'm not using my computer. And little small things that help a little. Every little bit helps.
Also, my electric bill is noticeably lower because of the light bulbs. They say it can be up to 60 %. I believe it.
Of course! its been supported by nearly every top scientist in the world.
I changed the light bulbs in my house, I've stopped buying bottled water, I buy local produce from the shope, I buy things with less plastic packaging, I turn off lights in my house, I don't leave things on standby, I hang my washing on the line in summer, I turn off the tap while I do my teeth, I take the train to work everyday, I try to buy British made products, I eat less meat, because cows are actually contributing to something like 80% of emissions, I'm taking a boat to spain this year rather than flying, I recycle my waste, I put stickers supporting the cause on my car, and I go on sites like these and tell the numbskulls that think its a waste of time and pointless that if we all made this effort then we can beat global warming!!

actually some people do a lot of things. but some people don't care and be selfish by saying that a lot of other people don't care either.
People need to get serious by using electricity more carefully and water.
No electricity means no light
No water means no world
I recycle because it is mandatory. I grow plants in my garden because it is fun. I don't litter. I shut my lights off when not in use(to cut down on expenses) I drive where I have to go. What really is the point in conserving,so someone else can use what I conserved.
