Look at the weather changes in different season. In spring it is very hot. It is suppose to be summer that is really hot.
Yes, it's been scientifically proven to be true This is no longer a valid question, it's like asking, is the world really round? This isn't an issue, the new issue is what can we do to slow it down and/or stop it.
Yep, it's the cause that's in question.
It is very true... Look at the change of our weather patterns. Look at the size of insects that are starting to survive the winter cause it doesn't get cold enough for them to die. And how much or our polar ice caps are melting and the amount of fresh water being dumped into the ocean. Just look at the history of our storms right now and how much worse they are getting every year. And the sun has been expanding over the years too, causing it to be closer than it use to be. We're all doomed.
All the scientific evidence suggests that global warming is real. However, in the past century the warming has occurred very slowly. In this century it is expected to occur much more rapidly unless we do something to stop it. The fact that we might have an unusually cold winter does not mean that the overall trend is for global warming to occur.

Global Warming is very real, and is currently a major threat to animals, plants, and us! The main cause of global warming, so far as I understand, is an excess of carbon in the atmosphere. Carbon can be recycled, but right now it cannot be recycled fast enough to keep up with the constant flow that is being added.
The main carbon-recycling functions on this planet are plants. Carbon is turned into oxygen by plants; but deforestation, urbanization, etc has severely reduced the number of plants available to do so. Because of this, the amount of carbon being injected into the air thanks to mining, pollutants, fires, etc is moving at a much, much faster pace than the plants can photosynthesize. An excess of carbon in the atmosphere is the result.
Excess carbon means that the heat from the sun is trapped inside the earth's ozone by the carbon molecules. This means that until something is done, the earth will continue to increase in temperature; thus, global warming.
There is hope that global warming can be reversed, but since the earth is ruled by money-hungry politicians, I seriously doubt anything will be done in time.
Today even the most ardent opponents of global warming do accept that there is some warming trend. Weather records show that 15 of 20 hottest years in recorded history are in last 20-25 years. Polar ice is at its least. Ask any grandma and she will tell you that things are warmer today than they were when she was young.The argument is now more about whether human beings are causing it or not.
This questions is not far from the question "Does smoking cause cancer?"
Even though you cannot establish a link between a particular cigar and a particular cancer cell, the statistical evidence is simply overwhelming to refute the connection.
Similarly you will never be able to establish to show which coal plant caused which hurricane. However the statistics, the computer simulation models, the small scale real models and general experience so far points in one direction. We are disturbing some basic cycles and mechanisms of life on earth. The 18th century Industrial revolution way of life was OK as long as it was limited to Europe. It is not possible if 6 billion people want to live that way.
This "human caused global warming" argument will continue till the point people see that it is a risk not worth taking. Hope it's not too late by then.
Global warming is real but it is really not a problem . The Earth and the sun (333,000 times larger than Earth) always have slight
temperature variations . 0.5 C during the past 200 years has not caused any change in the Florida coast according to the Spanish land deeds marking the coast line . Therefore, the movie made by Al Gore showing New York and half the world under water is actually science fiction and just needs Godzilla blowing fire on the world to make it more interesting . The chart Al Gore needed a giant ladder to illustrate the change in Carbon Dioxide is actually a difference of less than 20 % over 200 years .

What about desertification due to deforrestation ,but speeded up by unusual hot Suns.
Water shortage .Rising seas
Croploss due to temperature changes ,
Heat and cold weaves that are killing people .
Flasfloods .
Mass exstinction of Flora and fauna ,many animals are becoming sick because of SMALL changes in temperature .
Insects are affected and some are going out of control such as the parasites that are killing the bees.
Vital links in the food chains are disapearing affecting other species further along in the chain.
We are witness to a mass exstinction ,for the first time since the dinosaurs, of the earth's estimated 10 million species, 300,000 have vanished in the past 50 years. each years, 3,000 to 30,000 species become extinct.
Everything is happening so fast it is not possible to monitor things any more.

World leaders are not too concerned with the well being of the masses ,on the contrary .it was stated at a conference in Copenhagen,in 1998,by an American statesman , that the Agenda demanded a decrease in the world population of 60%,and you cannot achieve this if you start saving everybody.
Scientists who get paid by politicians have downplayed the facts because solutions are expensive and means change .
Change effects many peoples incomes,and upsets profit margins,so most of the world is kept in the dark of the real things that are going on.for political and economic reasons .

This text only covers some aspects of global warming mainly man made desertification
Industrial contamination ,the contaminating effects of the cities ,is another story
There are natural cycles in the planets life
but mans existance has its effects,and this is increasing with overpopulation,putting strains on Natural resources and increasing contaminations as well as destructions of essential componants the ensure living conditions for all life forms.
In North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification and some have died as a result.
In china, thousands of what used to be farmers are running for their lives from the dust storms, that have burried their towns and turned their lands into dessert.
The Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year
and many of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions ,and they are increasing ,in the dinosaurs days ,there were very few desserts.
Collectively this planet is drying up because of bad farming practices like,over grazing and fertilizers,
Each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss
There is less and less water (because of deforestation),to irrigate this production ,
and there are less and less farmers to do it..
Each year 70 million more people have to eat and drink and wash
Farmers are plowing more and more unstable lands because they have lost so many million hectares to desertification ,because of bad farming practises ,such as using fertilizers and heavy machinary , over grazing, overpumping deep carbon aquifiers.
RISING SEAS
The northpole is melting ,and we will know it without ice in our life times.
This does not affect the sea level because it is ice that is already in the water.
The melting ice from Green land and the south pole ,are another matter.

if forrest are being exchanged for ashalt,concrete and desserts, what is gonna keep this planet habitable for us.
We as humanity can behave in a less stressful manner as far as the Environment is concerned ,but it will mean global co operation between all countries ,and taking into account human nature and the world politics ,it is unlikely that this will happen.
