About solid Mahogany w MDF wood environmental friendliness.?

Tell me about its environmental friendliness.If possible tell me about others wood as well.About their environmental friendliness

Making furnature out of wood is environmentally friendly. If you let the tree rot naturally it will produce methane and the bugs that eat it after it dies will produce methane. By making furnature out of it you sequester the carbon locked in the wood cellulose.
mahogany is my fav wood! Cuban is the best but you cant get it anymore ,except old peices of furniture at auctions! Im an Antique restorator,Cuban mahogany is worth its weight in gold ,I make sure that I dont get the wood from the Amazon forest because that is destroying our earth when they cut them down!!
