yes! I'm a totaaaal enviornmentalist.
I recycle just about everything that can be recycled. It's hard for me not to. I'll even save water bottles that I use and recycle them as soon as I get home.
I'm a bit of a tree hugger.
Not generally... I do, however, reuse...
Here in New York we are required to do so.
When I lived in Florida, I was part of the public that forced the Island of Key West to start recycling.
we have 3 garbage containers here. One for greens one for regular trash and one for recyclables. I put all our plastic and paper and can's in there. I even rinse everything. Next I will buy cloth/material bags for when I go grocery shopping... ;)
I am very sorry about this .As a Chinese i find most Chinese don't like recycle and they like throw garbage everywhere .
So our environment is not very good ,i hope we Chinese can learn protecting environment from you Americans.

I try to recycle as much as I can, I wish I could put more stuff in my recycling bin that the council take away, but I do take my bottles and jars etc to the bottle bank and also worn out clothes and shoes to the clothes banks, and I we have about four compost bins!

I save my recyclables and then put them on top of my trash can.The person that thinks he is stealing takes them away.We in Ca. are encouraged to recycle.I work late hours and have done this for years.I save on gas getting to the center.But for sure the things are recycled.I have 2 sizes of cloth bags in my truck for grocery stops.My largest being from FunQA.com.It is real nice.One more thing I do is when I go to town,I make a list of all my stops.Then I look for yard sales on the way.My family are all bargain shoppers,another way to recycle and save money.Good question.
Yes. not because al gore said so. If you ever visited a waste site... you'll be amazed at a lot of the trash is recyclable but people are lazy.
Yes, I recycle. In fact, that is on my errand list today. I recycle plastic, paper and aluminum soda cans. Our city does not have a place to recycle glass or I would do that also. I will drop off my plastic bag of soda & beer cans to Habitat for Humanity (they use the money to build houses for the poor) and then I will stop by recycling to drop off a 50 gallon plastic trash can full of plastic and a rectangular clothes basket full of newspapers. I do everything I can to recycle. I make pillow tops from those wonderfully cheap bridesmaids dressses bought at a garage sale. Lots and lots of ideas to recycle and save the environment and MONEY
