What good is a flea?

I know alot of pests although are truly pests, they are also helpful to the environment in some way. But what the heck are fleas and ticks good for?

Answer:
Some ticks are good for spreading the Lyme bacteria, which causes Lyme disease.

Remember, the environment and its ecosystems are not "designed" for the benefit of humans. What we consider pests, are actually helpful to other life forms.

ticks are good for lowering your blood pressure and as the tick sucks out your blood it decreases the amount of pheromones in your body relaxing you and sum what relieving you of your amounting stress that you will encounter in your life. in other words if we didn't have them almost all of us would have gray hair
Like many of the pests we know of, fleas and ticks are host animals for many diseases and organisms. While humans may see no reason in their existance, there are some organisms utilizing fleas for their gain.
