Global warming? Ok so what? Is that not the natural cycle.?
Answer:
Global warming is a joke. The Global Warming Hoax can no longer be blamed on man. All of the planets in the solar system have global warming, including Pluto which is no longer a planet. The global warming on mars mirrors the global warming on earth. (Watch this video for some of the facts: http://en.sevenload.com/videos/ha4poky/t... )
Al Gore is wrong says "The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change". The IPCC has said there will not be massive flooding like what Al Gore's movie says. They say the ocean will rise by 2 feet at most.
And new data from brand new solar satellites show that the temperature of the sun is constantly changing. Also, the strongest solar flares on record have been happening during the past decade. Because of a recently launced satellite, we now know the sun's temperature is changing constantly. http://abcnews.go.com/video/playerindex?...

The man-made global warming theory has not been proven true. The IPCC only reached a "CONSENSUS" and that proves nothing. There is a lead IPCC author that disagrees with the theory. Video: http://en.sevenload.com/videos/ha4poky/t...
"The sun is heading into a new season of turbulent solar activity. Just like its seasonal hurricane predictions, on April 25, 2007, the National Oceanic and" http://www.technologynewsdaily.com/node/...
NASA says the sun caused the earth to leave the great ice age in less than 20 years. 20 years is like a second. And there is nothing humans can do to change how the sun changes the temperature of the earth.
NASA: "Rapid changes between ice ages and warm periods (called interglacials) are recorded in the Greenland ice sheet. Occurring over ONE OR TWO DECADES, the warming of the Earth at the end of the last ice age happened much faster than the rate of change of the Earth’s orbit."
NASA link: http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/study/p...
NASA data has proved that the "Little Ice Age" was caused by less light reaching the earth ("solar variability", which means changes in the sun). NASA's data about the little ice age: http://tinyurl.com/227h3p (This data can be copied and pasted it into Excel to chart it.)
Other facts:
1) 6,000 years ago, the earth was hotter than it is today. 6,000 years is less than a second when compared with the age of the earth.
2) Temperatures dropped in the 1950's and 1990's when CO2 levels were increasing.
3) 140,000 years ago the earth had record CO2 levels and there were no gasoline powered cars.
4) 20,000 years ago, Canada was one big ice cube and half of the U.S. was covered with Ice. The grand canyon was formed by melting ice ages over 20 million years.
5) The temperature of the Earth has only increased by 0.65 of a degree in the last 110 years. There were faster increases in temperatures around 10,000 years ago and there were no gasoline powered cars during that time.
6) Strong hurricanes are normal. Hundreds of years ago, they used to sink ships off of the coast of Florida.
The main concern is the survival of our own species. If we don't get global warming under control we'll see increased droughts, heat waves, floods, water shortages, food shortages, etc. etc. The WHO already estimates that 150,000 people die annually as a result of global warming worldwide. They project that this number will double by 2030.
We can only evolve so fast.
If we wipe out all life on the planet, we will die as well.
And survival of the fittest is misinterpreted by many (yourself included). You could look up "natural selection" if you'd like to educate yourself.
well the whole point is global warming will end our survival. First there will be droughts and a shortage of water everywhere. then it will either be so hot the ice caps completely melt, or the next ice age will begin. these are things a mojority of the population will have a hard time dealing with and will result either way with us no longer bieng at the top of the animal kingdom.
You must be a monk; you have led a sheltered, uneducated life. I find it hard to believe how utterly stupid you are, really, it amazes me that evolution has spared you. You are living proof that technology keeps the undeserving alive at the expense of everything else.
The first link is what I think of you, you are living proof that people like you make people like me appear that much smarter.
The second is what can happen when the hunter becomes the hunted. Or when the stupid don't see it coming!
Global warming has been an issue for decades. It is not nothing new. Scientist have been aware of the possibilities for years now. Only recently it seems that the mainstream folks are becoming more aware of it. The current condition is not natural, but a man-made problem. Sure if mankind was to parish then the earth will recover, but who wants that?
Neither global warming nor evolution by natural selection are Leftist movements. They are scientific theories. The fact that you are unaware of this speaks volumes for your scientific literacy.
Now, are you seriously ignorant of the problems that might arise from wiping out all other life forms on the planet? Did it ever occur to you that this might, you know, wipe us out as well? Did you just think you can do whatever you want to the rest of the living organisms on Earth and leave yourself unaffected?
Evolution is a scientific theory that is in any subjective review, factual. Global warming is a scientific theory that is extremely lacking in scientific confirmation. It is in fact primarily emotional and political and has left the scientific realm.
Lol, Grizzbr1. Thanks for making me laugh. :)
I'm not sure if global warming is as bad as people are trying to get us to believe. I'm not even sure it even exists. Some scientists believe we are actually going through a warming trend and the planet should cool again in another 100 years or so. Just remember that the earth was once in an ice age and without global warming we would still be in an ice age.
OK, everyone on the left now has it straight. What are you going to do about these guys?
"Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"
"Pat Robertson (very conservative Christian leader) 'It is getting hotter and the ice caps are melting and there is a build up of carbon dioxide in the air. We really need to do something on fossil fuels.”
Ford Motor Company CEO William Clay Ford, Jr. "I believe there is now more than enough evidence of climate change to warrant an immediate and comprehensive - but considered - response. Anyone who disagrees is, in my view, still in denial."
"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."
James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.
“With overwhelming scientific evidence that global warming is adversely impacting the health of our planet, the time has come for the Congress to take action.”
Senator Olympia Snowe, Republican, Maine
"The overwhelming majority of atmospheric scientists around the world and our own National Academy of Sciences are in essential agreement on the facts of global warming and the significant contribution of human activity to that trend."
Russell E. Train, Republican, former environmental official under Presidents Nixon and Ford
"I agree with you (Gore) that the debate over climate change is over."
Rep. Dennis Hastert, Republican, Illinois
"Global warming is real, now, and it must be addressed."
Lee Scott, CEO, Wal-Mart
"Our nation has both an obligation and self-interest in facing head-on the serious environmental, economic and national security threat posed by global warming."
Senator John McCain, Republican, Arizona
"I'm trying to learn [about greenhouse gases and global warming]. The more I learn, the bigger believer I become."
Senator Lindsay Graham, Republican, South Carolina
“DuPont believes that action is warranted, not further debate."
Charles O. Holliday, Jr., CEO, DuPont
"Rep. Wayne Gilchrest asked to be on the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming. House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio refused to allow it unless Gilchrest would say that humans have not contributed to global warming. The Maryland Republican refused and was denied a seat.
Reps. Roscoe Bartlett (R-Md.) and Vernon Ehlers (R-Mich.), both research scientists, also were denied seats on the committee. Normally, relevant expertise would be considered an advantage. In this case, it was a disqualification; if the GOP allowed Republican researchers who accept the scientific consensus to sit on a global warming panel, it would kill the party’s strategy of making global warming seem to be the pet obsession of Democrats and Hollywood lefties.
