Gobal Warming question.?
I truth I have never seen either proof or conclusive evidence that humans are causing global warning. All I have seen or heard is rhetoric.
On the other hand, I have seen statistical evidence that shows that the earth has been in a warming cycle for hundreds of years. Other evidence shows that the Sun is getting hotter (both Mars and Venus are getting hotter).
Every time I have talked to someone who believes global warming is caused by pollution I ask them why they believe that. Each time all I get is social or political rhetoric, no one seems to be able to back it up with hard evidence.
I do not want to make my decisions based on only one side of the argument. So can someone provide me a non-political website that contains either proof or conclusive statistical evidence that global warming is caused by pollution?

Venus atmosphere is primarily made up by CO2. and the Planet's surface is roughly 870 degrees F. This is hotter then any other planet and should show the corrolation between atmospheric CO2 and global warming.
Mars is not heating. One of its polar caps, the one facing the Sun, is melting as a part of a natural cycle. The other pole is increasing in size.
The science between CO2 and its warming effects (it traps many wave lengths of radiation.) has been known for the better part of a century.
The fact that Only a few of the 173 planets, and satellites in this solar system show any sign of warming, regiona or global, is a clear sign that increasing solar radiation is Not the sole cause of global warming. Another evidence, regarding the history of this planets climate changes, is that CO2, historically, has lagged 200 - 1000 years behind the rise in temperature. It has, in the past, acted as a very strong amplifying effect to global warming. The initial cause has been various natural cycles. Now we see a direct correlation between the rise in CO2 and in temperature. As humans release CO2 in to the atmosphere it traps more heat on Earth. This leads to more CO2 being released (as in the past), thus CO2 is presently both a cause and a strong amplifier

You wont find the link you are looking for because it doesn't exist. But don't let the libs know. There seems to be a very disturbing trend in the scientific community of taking loosely connected theories and calling it fact or a "consensus". I applaud you for searching for the truth.

We know from ice core samples that historically when global warming occurred, atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations also increased, but not until about 800 years later.

As you can see they’re both rising – not with an 800 year delay, but at the same time. If CO2 wasn’t causing global warming as was the case in the past, then why is there no 800 year delay?
This only proves a correlation between CO2 and global warming and not a causality. The reason we’ve concluded that greenhouse gas emissions are causing global warming (or more accurately, accelerating it) is because natural causes can’t account for the increase in global warming over the past 40-50 years. They account for most of the warming prior to that, but climate models have determined that greenhouse gases are responsible for about 80-90% of the recent global warming:

The very first inputs into climate models were solar, volcanic, and sunspot contributions, but they simply couldn’t account for the recent acceleration in global warming. Thus climate scientists have concluded that humans are the primary cause. There is simply no other scientifically viable explanation.

There is a consensus that climate change is very likely due to the observed increase in human generated greenhouse gases. You can disagree, because there is no hard evidence, just careful statistical analysis. We are in a natural warming cycle, but lately it has occurred much faster than ever before. The sun is getting hotter, but not enough to account for the rapid changes. Mars and Venus are getting hotter, but that means six planets are getting cooler.

That's funny. When I ask someone who believes man has nothing to do with environmental problems I get the same response.

Global warming is a product of a change in the energy output of the sun. Ask any astronomer and they will tell you that global warming is occuring on every planet in our solar system. What is the single factor common to them all? The sun. Look at the data on Carbon Dioxide concentration vs temperature and you will find very little correlation. compare the same data to the changes in solar output and you have a match. During the jurassic carbon dioxide levels were 30 times higher, life went on and plant and animal life flourished. Mt. Pinatubo erupted in 1991 in the philippines releasing more greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere than all of mankind has since before the industrial revolution. After 5 years there was no discernable impact on regional or global temperature. Even the scientist who proposed the global warming hypothesis has since backed off of the idea. People need to start doing some research on global warming and quit listening to the talking heads on tv telling them we're all gonna die unless we move back into caves. I and a lot of other scientist believe in conservation and taking care of our environment, but I do not support panic science. Wake up america, educate yourselves!
