Is the earth's crust shrinking faster, causing friction and thus heat adding to global warming?

As we know the earth crust is shrinking naturally due to cooling of the earth, causing earth quakes, volcanic eruptions etc. The centre of the earth is very hot. Can it be that by taking out the enormous volumes of oil and gas, coal etc, the earth's crust is shrinking faster, causing more pressures, frictions, more hot gasses escaping from the earth into the atmosphere and sea etc, and thus causing the lately more rapidly increase of global temperatures?

Answer:
Variations if the Sun's intensity account for nearly all global warming.
No.
No. It's not the removal of subterranian material, it's the loss of the ozone layer combined with the loss of tropical rainforests that have caused climate change, and there is no way to reverse the process.
Global warming has been replaced as the biggest problem to mankind. The new biggest problem is this: The fact that so many people have been taught that "there is no way to reverse the process". The thought that the Earth is balanced upon an ecological blade and if you push just slightly in either direction it will fall off and be smashed like Humpty Dumpty.
No, that isn't possible.
The primary cause of global warming is an excess of CO2 in the atmosphere generated by human activity. It's not the earth's crust shrinking, it's not termite or cow farts, it's not Al Gore or Al Gore farts, it's not volcanoes or aliens or the ozone layer or aliens in the ozone layer or wombats. Global warming is caused by man's emissions of CO2.

Good grief that a lot of bull.
Sorry for the harsh words darling.
Global warming is by us all the main cuplrits!!.
we burn fossil fuel to keep warm - coal in some countries.
USA is the biggest pollution country to make the environment warm. Look at the industries churning smoke in each state.
Yet they dont want to sign the Kyoto treaty!
How about the trees that are been cut down in the rainforest and around the world. Trees that took millions, thousands of years to grow. And none being planted back. Except for Christmas trees for commercial gains.
In South East Asia - Indonesia clears the forest for palm plantations each year - sending the region with hazy skies and health problems.
The petrol/gas we use for transportation - another cuplrit. Have we consumers demand vehicles that are green? How does the car manufacturers involve in these process.
The billions the oil & coal industry makes each year - they wont give in without a fight. They are safeguarding their profits! How we consumers fight them - a losing and uphill task and battle?
The homes we live in - are the eco friendly? Look around your place and check are they??
Have you made your place eco friendly? Workplace??
The car/ motorcyle you use to work?
Many questions darling.
YES! Eventually the earth will shrink to a pea, become very hot and we will all fall off!
Heck NO
That is incorrect. The only thing that's shrinking or vanishing is the ozone layer. It is of course invisible and it protect us from the sun like a sunscreen and sunglasses. But the fact it is thinning we are getting heat with stronger wave from the sun dangerous rays. When it's gone not thing protect us from the sun.
You should see 'An inconvenient Truth'
Stop scaring me! I don't like to think abut all this stuff that's gonna happen in the future like death!! Just kidding, i do agree.
no global warming takes place due the increased rate of carbondioxide n cfcs near the earths atmosphere..due to reckless use of vehicles n fuels which emitt carbondioxide, this gas traps the sunlight near the surface n makes it hot..due to continous excess emission of this gas the temperature of the earths surface has gradually increased n is expected to increase further in the near future which may melt up the polar ice
The Earth's crust is composed of a series of gigantic plates - tectonic plates. Sometimes these collide with each other and cause an upthrust leading to mountain chains such as the Himalayas, other plates are moving away from each other and literally tearing the Earth open, the Great Rift Valley in Africa is a good example of this.

The speed at which the world changes geologoically is minute, plate movements of anything more than a few mm a year would be considered extreme. These movements can crack open fissures and lead to other geological events such as earthquakes but the're not responsible for global warming.

In fact, geological events which result in the release of material from beneath the Earth's surface contribute to global cooling. The reason being that the material released, especially sulphur dioxide, blocks out sunlight.

Global warming is happening but it's for very different reasons.
