Is global warming coming?

Answer:
No. It is not coming. IT IS ALREADY HERE!!
Anything is possible.
Only time will tell.
I can't speak on the global level, but here in Minnesota we've seen all the indicators.

Rising trends in temp.
Permafrost thawing (at least in Canada)
Tree migration (seriously, it does happen)
Decreasing snow fall
Yup it is positively coming but unless we stop it.
It's here already.I live in NW Montana and glaciers and icefields are in dramatic decline.
The answer is simple. It has always been here. We humans have drastically accelerated it however, and now it is accelerating itself.

The real questions are...

Can we stop it?
Do we want to stop it?
Do we really care?
It's already here, Greenland is melting.
Global warming IS coming no matter what man does or does not do about it. No one can say for sure, but the overall temperature of the planet has gone up and down over its entire existence.

Scientists monitoring the size of the ice-caps on mars have reported a steady decrease in their size of the last 20 something years. Contrary to popular belief, they dont have SUVs on mars. What this means is that the solar radiation put out by the sun has increased slightly, to the point where it causes a temperature shift on planets in our solar system. (scientists who monitor storms on jupiter think the increased intensity of jupitorian storms has something to do with this also)

I can say with 100% certainty that the overall temperature of the earth WILL go up at some time. I can also say with 100% certainty that the overall temperature will also go DOWN at some time. We may have another mini-ice age for all anyone knows.

(then again, we might have something like an equatorial shift that will make the problems of a degree or to increase seem like nothing)
course its cumin
thts why its vrrid scientsts all around da world
as somebody else said, global warming is not coming, it IS here!

for the history of human kind there has always been natural greehouse gases which keep the earth warm and make life on it possible.
but we are increasing this greenhouse gases and it's over-warming the earth.

in we keep being so irresponsible, in thrity years the earth's temperature will have more than doubled and we'll all be dead.
Global warming refers to the already observed warming trend as well as any future trend, so I'd say it's already here.
Global warming is here and it has been here for many thousand of years. What needs to be addressed is that global warming is in fact a natural process YET the debate in todays society is whether human activities is acting as a catalyst to spur global warming into a faster process in hand generating environmental impacts that the natural environment is unable to natural cope with at such a fast rate.

If you visit the IPCC's (international panel on climate change) website, there should be detail documents showing that in fact carbon emission were higher than they ever have been thousands of years ago just after the ice age...

Therefore anyone to believes global warming is a political concept to increase taxes etc is not understanding the complexity of the debate since. The debate today is not how can we stop G.W but what can human activity do to reduce the rate at which it is occurring.
Its here what are you talking about.
It's been here for many years now. The only question is: Where will it end?
