When you have a green life, would life still be full of colors or just green>?
Answer:
When you have a truly green life I do not know what colors will be in your life, but I do know that you will be absolutely miserable.
To have a truly green life you must cease your use of all fossil fuels and all natural resources.
You will not be permitted to drive a car.
You will not be permitted to heat your home.
You will not be permitted to have or use anything with plastic that was made from petroleum in it.
You will not be permitted to buy any food that was produced, harvested or transported whrough the use of fossil fuels.
The farmer will have to do his plowing with a mule, not farm machinery that uses pertoleum products.
The farmer will have to use an oxcart or a horse and buggy to deliver his produce to market.
You will not be permitted to have a refrigerator to store your food or a stove or microwave oven to cook your food.
You will not be able to have any clothing with materials made from petroleum products.
Any cotton that is produced for your clothes must be produced by a farmer that uses a mule for his plowing, no farm machimery allowed.
The coton must be picked by hand. Again no farm machinery allowed because it uses petroleum products.
The farmer must bring the cotton to the cotton gin with a horse and buggy.
The cotton gin must not be powered by electricity that was generated with a fossil fuel
Your underwear will be made of burlap..
There is much more, however I think that I will stop here, I think that you get the idea.
If you do any less than I have outlined above, you are not green.
If you think that you are green, you are not. You are merely engaging in a good public relations program designed to maike you feel good about yourself because you engaged in some trivial sacrifices that are so small that they have absolutely no effect as far as reducing the output of Greenhouse Gases.
Green is, actually, the only colour NOT used by plants. They absorb every other colour, but only reflect green. So Kermit was right. As the natural world has shown us, its not easy being green.
No matter how green you go, you'll still see a whole lot of people all different colors.
The world would be filled with beautiful vibrant colors
A real solution would be just to offset CO2 Emissions. Legitimate non-profits like CO2Debt.com are great for the job. I urge everyone to do their homework and find a good non-profit and donate something. Make sure to stay away from big budget for profit companies trying to make a buck off the panic though!
All of the colors will be more vibrant. The sky will be bluer, the flowers will be rosier, and the earth tones will be harmoniously in tune. :)
Some people only see Black-and-White.
There is more to Life than that.

green living is synonymous to simple, healthy, clean living...as a result, everything in your life becomes more vibrant, more alive, more colorful...so green living now becomes synonymous to living in vivid colors (as in color TV, instead of the dull black&white)
